Abstract

A remote control for a treadmill includes a housing, in which a battery chamber and a circuit board are provided. The housing has a speed controller, a slope controller, a pulse sensor and an emergency stop button, which are electrically connected to the circuit board. The circuit board emits signals to control the treadmill by wireless according to the manipulation of the remote control of the present invention.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates generally to a treadmill, and more particularly to a remote control of the treadmill.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • As shown in FIG. 1, a conventional treadmill 1 includes a panel 2 in front of a runner 3. The panel 2 has many buttons, switches and other controllers to set up the condition of the treadmill and has a screen to show information. It is hard for runner to manipulate the controllers on the panel 2 while he/she is running on the treadmill 1. The runner usually has to slow down, even have to stop. to operate the controllers.
  • Some treadmills are provided with a motor to drive the belt, so that the belt keeps moving even when the runner had fallen down. It is very damage to the runner, because the belt will draw the runner and cause serious injury. Some treadmills are provided with an emergency stop button 4 on the panel 2 to be pressed by the runner to stop the motor when he/she is aware of danger. But the emergency stop button 4 hardly works in a situation that the runner has already unbalances is falling down because there is no time for the runner to reach the emergency stop button 4. The first action of the runners body when he/she has unbalanced or is going to fall down is getting back balance or gripping the nearest object to stop falling rather than reach the emergency stop button 4, so that the emergency stop button 4 only has limited function in safety.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a flashlight, which has a greater illumination range.
  • The second objective of the present invention is to provide a flashlight, which is capable of changing the illuminating direction when it is hung.
  • According to the objective of the present invention, a remote control for a treadmill comprises a housing, in which a battery chamber and a circuit board are provided, and on which at least a controller and an emergency stop button are provided. The controller and the emergency stop button are electrically connected to the circuit board, and the circuit board emits signals to control the treadmill by wireless.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a sketch diagram, showing a runner falling down on the conventional treadmill;
  • FIG. 2 is a top view of a preferred embodiment of the present invention;
  • FIG. 3 is a front view of the preferred embodiment of the present invention;
  • FIG. 4 is a sketch diagram, showing the runner holding the remote control of the present invention and running on the treadmill, and
  • FIG. 5 is a sketch diagram, showing when the runner fell down, he/she still can manipulate the remote control of the present invention to stop the treadmill.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, a remote control for a treadmill of the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises:
  • A housing 10 has a battery chamber 11 and a circuit board 12 therein and has a speed controller 14, a slope controller 15, a pulse sensor 16 and an emergency stop button 17 thereon. The controllers 14, 15, the pulse sensor 16 and emergency stop button 17 are connected to the circuit board 12 via wires (not shown). The circuit board 12 emits infrared rays to control the treadmill by wireless.
  • The housing 10 is provided with a belt 20 to be fitted to a palm of user, such that the user has less change to drop the remote control of the present invention.
  • In use, the user holds the remote control of the present invent in a hand and runs on the treadmill. While the user puts a finger on the pulse sensor 16, the emits signals to the treadmill to shows the pulses on a screen (not shown) on a panel as well as while the user wants to change the speed or the slope, he/she only has to operate the speed controller 14 and the slope controller 15. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4, the user can operate all of the functions of the treadmill when he/she is running by manipulating the remote control of the present invention without having to slow down or stop.
  • When the runner has unbalanced or is going to fall down, as shown in FIG. 5, he/she still can press the emergency stop button 17 to stop the motor of the treadmill that shall minimize the injury.
