Abstract

For the purpose of further developing an oven, in particular a baking oven or a cooking oven, the invention proposes an oven (1), in particular a baking oven comprising an oven housing (2), comprising an oven door (11) and comprising a linear pull-out element (12) for the oven door (11), where the linear pull-out element (12) encompasses a plain bearing appliance (19,20) and where the plain bearing appliance (19,20) is disposed at the oven housing bottom (8).

Description

  • The invention relates to an oven, in particular a cooking (or: baking) oven.
  • Cooking ovens are known which comprise an oven housing, an oven cavity and an oven door for closing an opening of the oven cavity in a closed position and further comprise a linear pull-out element (or device) for transporting the oven door from a closed position into an opened position and from the opened position into the closed position. Generic ovens are sufficiently known from the state of the art, wherein a plurality of differently designed linear pull-out elements exist herein as opening mechanism for oven doors. Often, the linear pull-out elements simultaneously serve as support devices, on which support systems for items to be cooked can be held and mounted, respectively.
  • A baking oven comprising a baking oven muffle, the loading opening of which can be closed by means of a baking oven door, is known, for example, from published patent application DE 102 53 157 A1 . The baking oven door is supported on stationary rails and can be displaced linearly as compared to the baking oven muffle. In the rails, provision is made for casters so that the oven door can be easily operated. The rails are mounted laterally on the baking oven housing.
  • A further linear pull-out element for a door of a cooking appliance closing a cooking compartment is known from published patent application DE 101 17 023 A1 . The linear drive hereby comprises two guides, which are disposed parallel to one another and which are mounted laterally on an oven housing of the cooking appliance. To increase the comfort during operation of the cooking appliance, the linear drive has a drive motor, by means of which the door of the cooking compartment can be operated in a motor-driven manner.
  • Patent specification DE 43 04 874 C2 describes a tray extension device for a microwave oven, wherein the tray extension device comprises rollers, which can roll off on guide rails above a bottom of a cooking chamber of the microwave oven. A tray, on which an item to be cooked can be set down, can be driven out of the cooking chamber without problems by means of the rollers. The disadvantage of the tray extension device comprising the rollers which roll on the guide rails is that the guide rails and the rollers soil easily and that they can subsequently be cleaned only with great effort. Furthermore, the rollers rolling off on the guide rails only ensure a very limited stability of the tray extension device.
  • A further linear pull-out element of a baking and roasting oven, respectively, is described in published patent application DE 42 23 608 A1 , where an oven door comprises rails using casters, which are movably supported in guide rails. To extend the pull-out travel of the linear pull-out element and of the oven door, respectively, displacement rails are pivotably supported on the rails. Said displacement rails are also provided with casters and can pivot into an oven interior upon sliding the oven door inwards, which allows for the installation space of the linear pull-out element to be considerably shortened. Advantageously, the extended pull-out travel makes it possible to better access a cooking compartment of the oven.
  • The invention is based on the object of providing a linear pull-out element at an oven, which requires only low-maintenance and which can furthermore be operated very quietly.
  • The object of the invention is solved according to a first aspect of the invention, by an oven, in particular by a cooking or baking oven, comprising an oven housing, comprising an oven door and comprising a linear pull-out element for the oven door, where the linear pull-out element encompasses a plain bearing appliance and wherein the plain bearing appliance is disposed on the bottom of the oven housing, wherein the linear pull-out element comprises a plain bearing (or: gliding bearing) equipment (or: appliance, mechanism).
  • Due to the fact that the plain bearing appliance is disposed on the bottom of the oven housing, it is disposed within the oven housing so as to be protected much better, whereby the danger of a rapid soiling caused by an item to be cooked during a cooking operation can also be reduced.
  • In addition, the use of a plain bearing appliance has the advantage that the linear pull-out element can be operated with it in a substantially quieter manner than it is the case with a roller bearing appliance.
  • Here, the term "oven" comprises, in particular, any type of ovens by means of which an item to be cooked, which is suitable for consumption, can be cooked. This includes, in particular, household appliances, such as cooking and/or baking ovens, but also microwave ovens, the cooking compartment of which can be closed by means of a linearly displaceable oven door.
  • Preferably, an oven housing establishes a border between the oven and its surrounding area, wherein it is not important hereby whether the oven housing is made up of one piece or of a plurality of sheet metal parts. Normally, the oven housing encompasses a rear wall as well as side walls, an oven housing lid as well as an oven housing bottom, which define the oven. A main opening of the oven housing is located in the front region so that, in particular, the cooking compartment is accessible from the outside. The main opening of the oven can be closed by the oven door.
  • In this context, the term "linear pull-out element" includes any devices, by means of which in particular an oven door can be displaced linearly as compared to the oven housing. However, support systems for items to be cooked can also be displaced in particular out of the cooking compartment of the oven in a suitably manner by means of the instant linear pull-out element. The linear pull-out element can hereby not only serve for guiding the oven door, but furthermore also for guiding further components of the oven.
  • The term "plain bearing appliance" includes any appliances, where two components, which can be displaced relative to one another, glide on and next to one another, respectively. In a simple case, such a plain bearing appliance can be realized by means of an outer tube, in which an inner tube can glide back and forth along its longitudinal axis. In the instant case, the plain bearing appliance substantially differs from roller bearing appliances in that components of the linear pull-out element must not roll of on top of one another with the plain bearing appliances used herein so as to provide, in particular, an easily accessible linear pull-out element.
  • The linear pull-out element can be equipped with a single plain bearing appliance. However, a preferred alternative embodiment provides that the linear pull-out element encompasses more than one plain bearing appliance, preferably two plain bearing appliances, both of which are mounted on the oven housing bottom.
  • Due to the fact that the plain bearing appliances are disposed and mounted on the housing bottom of the oven, they do not take up installation space at the sides of an oven interior so that said laterally gained installation space is available for a cooking compartment enlargement, for example. Furthermore, an oven region located below the cooking compartment, which, until now, is substantially either not used or used only slightly, can serve as assembly compartment for a linear pull-out element or at least for components thereof.
  • Accordingly, a particularly preferred alternative embodiment also provides that the plain bearing appliance is disposed between the oven housing bottom and a cooking compartment of the oven. If the plain bearing appliance is disposed between the oven housing bottom and the cooking compartment of the oven, the linear pull-out element can completely disappear from the side regions of the oven so that the oven can be set up in a particularly simple manner in the side regions of the oven.
  • If applicable, the plain bearing appliance can also be mounted directly on a wall of the cooking compartment and on the bottom of the cooking compartment, respectively, whereby a mounting of the plain bearing appliance on the oven housing bottom is not necessary. Due to the fact that the plain bearing appliance can be disposed in the lower region of the oven anyway, the features, namely that the plain bearing appliance is disposed between the oven housing bottom and a cooking compartment of the oven, are advantages even without the other features of the invention.
  • The plain bearing appliance is protected particularly well against soiling if the plain bearing appliance is disposed between the oven housing bottom and a horizontally disposed support sheet of the linear pull-out element. Through this, a successful displacement of the linear pull-out element in the lower region of the oven is also possible so that this feature combination is also advantageous independent on the remaining features of the invention.
  • A further particularly advantageous alternative embodiment provides for the plain bearing appliance to be disposed between the oven housing bottom and a support for an item to be cooked. Through this, a further successful protection of the linear pull-out element is achieved as well.
  • The object of the invention is further solved according to a second aspect of the invention, by an oven, in particular a cooking oven, comprising an oven housing, an oven cavity, an oven door for closing an opening of the oven cavity in a closed position and a linear pull-out element for the oven door, for linearly, in particular horizontally, transporting the oven door from a closed position into an opened position and from the opened position into the closed position along a linear or horizontal transporting direction, wherein the linear pull-out element comprises at least one stationary tube which is stationary or fixed with respect to the oven housing and at least one pull-out tube or rod which is movable in the transporting direction with respect to the stationary tube and the stationary tube and the pull-out tube or rod are arranged telescopically or coaxially with regard to the transporting direction.
  • This arrangement provides a quiet and robust pull-out system for an oven door.
  • The stationary tube and the pull-out tube or rod of the pull-out element have, in a preferred embodiment, a circular cross-section or bearing surface. The stationary tube is usually at the outside of the pull-out element and/or surrounds or encloses the pull-out tube or rod. Furthermore, preferably, the outer tube or stationary tube has a completely closed wall surrounding a transporting axis and/or the inner tube or rod.
  • A plain bearing or ball bearing can be arranged between the stationary tube and the pull-out tube or rod and/or plain or ball bearings can be disposed between a stationary tube and a pull-out tube of the linear pull-out element. In particular, a first plain or ball bearing is mounted on the pull-out tube, preferably at an end facing away from the oven door, wherein preferably the first plain or ball bearing can be displaced as compared to the stationary tube. Furthermore, a second plain bearing or ball bearing is mounted on the stationary tube, preferably at an end facing the oven door, wherein preferably the second plain or ball bearing can be displaced as compared to the pull-out tube or rod.
  • In a preferred embodiment, at least two stationary tubes are connected with one another by means of an oven housing bottom or bottom plate forming a bottom of the oven housing or being connected to the oven housing and/or are fixed to or onto the or a bottom plate by means of at least one preferably two fixing brackets. This provides for good stability and stiffness of the construction.
  • Additionally, at least two pull-out tubes or rods are preferably connected in the front with one another by means of a, in particular reinforced or stiffened, sheet or rod extending in a transversal and/or horizontal direction orthogonal to the transporting direction and/or by means of a support sheet or support frame of the linear pull-out element on top and/or in the front of the pull-out tubes or rods. Advantageously, two door accommodation swords or carriers are arranged at the front of the pull-out element extending above the sheet or rod or support sheet.
  • As already mentioned above, the instant plain bearing appliance can be embodied in many different ways. Advantageously, the plain bearing appliance encompasses a stationary tube and a pull-out tube, which gives it a particularly simple and non-sensitive constructive setup. In this alternative embodiment, the stationary tube is directly mounted preferably on the oven housing bottom and can thus not be displaced relative to the oven housing. The pull-out tube of the plain bearing appliance is provided for this purpose, which, being disposed within the stationary tube, can be linearly displaced as compared to the oven housing, because it can slide back and forth within the stationary tube.
  • If two or more stationary tubes are used, it is advantageous if two or more pull-out tubes are connected with one another by means of a reinforcement sheet and/or by means of a support sheet of the linear pull-out element. It is ensured through this that the pull-out tubes can be displaced substantially identical as compared to the oven housing. Furthermore, the entire linear pull-out element experiences a further stabilization, if the pull-out tubes are also connected with one another accordingly.
  • As already mentioned above, the pull-out tube can slide back and forth within the stationary tube. A particularly low-friction and thus also low-noise sliding is ensured, if plain beatings are disposed between the stationary tube of the linear pull-out element and the pull-out tube of the linear pull-out element. Such plain bearings can be designed in many different ways and can be made from the most diverse materials.
  • A preferred alternative embodiment provides for the plain bearings to be designed as bearing rings, which, on the one hand, rest against the inner diameter of the stationary tube with their outer diameters and which, on the other hand, rest against the outer diameter of the pull-out tube with their inner diameters.
  • It is advantageous if a first plain bearing is mounted on the pull-out tube. Such a mounting can be ensured in that the first plain bearing is pressed, glued and/or screwed to the pull-out tube, for example.
  • Advantageously, the first plain bearing can, at the same time, take over the function of a travel limitation, if the first plain bearing is mounted on the pull-out tube at one end facing away from the oven door. The first plain bearing hereby moves along with the pull-out tube as soon as it is pulled out of the stationary tube, until is stops at a limitation of the stationary tube and the pull-out tube is thus prevented from further being pulled out of the stationary tube. An alternative embodiment thus provides for the first plain bearing to be displaceable as compared to the stationary tube.
  • A further advantageous alternative embodiment provides for a second plain bearing to be mounted on the stationery tube. The second plain bearing can hereby be pressed, glued and/or screwed in the stationary tube.
  • Advantageously, the second plain beating can, at the same time, form a stop for the first plain bearing of the pull-out tube, if the second plain bearing is mounted on the stationary tube at an end facing towards the oven door. This is why it is advantageous if the second plain bearing can be displaced as compared to the pull-out tube.
  • For the oven door to be capable of being displaced in a reliable manner with the linear pull-out element, it is advantageous if the linear pull-out element encompasses an oven door accommodation. The oven experiences a particularly simple setup if such an oven door accommodation can be provided by means of the reinforcement sheet and/or by means of the support sheet of the liner pull-out element.
  • The invention will be explained below in more detail by means of an exemplary embodiment. Reference is thereby also made to the drawing, in which

  • The cooking oven 1 shown in Figures 1 and 2 encompasses a cooking oven housing 2, which encompasses, a cooking oven housing opening 3. The cooking oven housing 2 substantially encompasses a housing rear wall 4, a housing lid 5, a first housing side wall 6, a second housing side wall 7 and a housing bottom 8. The designs of the individual housing regions of the cooking oven housing 2 specified herein will only be discussed with regard to the fact that provision is made for an operating panel 9 of the cooking oven 1 above the cooking oven housing opening 3.
  • The cooking oven housing opening 3 permits access to a cooking oven compartment 10, which can represent a cooking compartment of the cooking oven 1 or in which a cooking oven muffle (not illustrated here) can be disposed as cooking compartment.
  • To be able to close the cooking oven housing opening 3, the cooking oven 1 comprises a cooking oven door 11, which is disposed on a linear pull-out element 12 so as to be fixed, yet capable of being detached. By means of the liner pull-out element 12, the cooking oven door 11 can be moved back and forth as compared to the cooking oven housing 2 with a linear movement 13 so that the cooking oven housing opening 3 can either be closed or released.
  • For the cooking oven door 11 to be capable of being removed quickly from the linear pull-out element 12, for example for cleaning or maintenance jobs, the linear pull-out element 12 comprises a cooking oven door accommodation 14 in the form of a left accommodation sword 15 and of a right accommodation sword 16 (see Figures 3 and 5).
  • In this exemplary embodiment, the cooking oven door accommodation 14 with both of its accommodation swords 15 and 16, is a component of a support sheet 17, which additionally reinforces the linear pull-out element 12 so that said linear pull-out element 12 is embodied to be very stable and so that, if applicable, supports for items to be cooked (not illustrated here) can be additionally mounted thereon.
  • The instant support sheet 17 is embodied in such a manner that it can furthermore receive a drip tray (not illustrated here), wherein said drip tray can be fixed sufficiently well on the support sheet 17 by means of a support sheet border 18.
  • As compared to the cooking oven 1, the support sheet 17 runs approximately horizontally and approximately parallel to the housing bottom 8.
  • For the cooking oven door 11, in particular, to be capable of being displaced by means of the linear pull-out element 12 according to the linear movement 13 relative to the cooking oven housing 2, the linear pull-out element 12 comprises a first plain bearing appliance 19 and a second plain bearing appliance 20.
  • Due to the fact that both plain bearing appliances 19 and 20 have an identical setup, the setup is only explained in view of the first plain bearing appliance 19. It is thus clear that the plain beating appliance 20 in this exemplary embodiment has identical components. The plain bearing appliance 19 comprises a stationery tube 21 and a pull-out tube 22, which can dip into the stationary tube 21.
  • The stationary tube 21 is mounted directly on the housing bottom 8 of the cooking oven 1 by means of a first mounting strap or bracket or clamp 23 and by means of a second mounting strap or bracket or clamp 24.
  • In this exemplary embodiment, the two stationary tubes 21 of the two plain beating appliances 19 and 20 and the housing bottom 8 form a first inseparable structural unit 25 of the cooking oven 1 (see Figure 4).
  • The two plain bearing appliances 19 and 20 are mounted on the housing bottom 8 as far as possible to the outside thereof so that the linear pull-out element 12 can build as buckling-resistant and as stable as possible.
  • A further structural unit 26 of the cooking oven 1 illustrated in particular in Figure 5 comprises the pull-out tubes 22 of the two plain bearing appliances 19 and 20, which are each disposed and fixed on a fixing flange 27 and 28, respectively, of a reinforcement sheet or rod 29, which runs at right angles. The support sheet 17, which additionally reinforces the further structural unit 26, belongs to the further structural unit 26. The support sheet 17 and the reinforcement sheet or rod 29 are once again illustrated in Figure 6 in a perspective detailed view without the door accommodation 14 and the pull-out tubes 22.
  • According to the illustration of Figure 7 it can be seen that the support sheet 17, except for the region of the reinforcement sheet or rod 29 and the cooking oven door accommodation 14, is disposed above the two plain bearing appliances 19, 20 and the housing bottom 8 in a self-supporting manner. Furthermore, it can clearly be seen how the pull-out tube 22 is dipped into the stationary tube 21, in particular with regard to the first plain bearing appliances 19. In this position, a cooking oven door 11 mounted on the cooking oven door accommodation 14 would close the cooking oven housing opening 3 (see Figure 1).
  • For the two tubes 21 and 22 to be capable of being displaced to one another in a simple and low-noise manner according to the linear movement 13, a first plain bearing ring 30 of linear pull-out element 12 is shrunk on the pull-out tube 22 so that said first plain bearing ring 30 together with the pull-out tube 22 performs a linear movement 13 and glides along the inner diameter 31 of the stationary tube 21. The first plain bearing ring 30 is mounted on one end 32 of the pull-out tube 22, which faces away from the cooking oven door 11.
  • A second plain bearing ting 34 is pressed into the stationary tube 21 at an end 33 of the stationary tube 21, which faces the cooking oven door 11. Through this, the pull-out tube 22 can glide on the second plain bearing ring 34 with its outer diameter 35, because the second plain bearing ring 34 remains in its intended position so as to be fixed on the stationary tube 21.
  • Due to the fact that the second plain bearing ring 34 is pressed with the stationary tube 21 and due to the fact that the first plain bearing ring 30 is pressed with the pull-out tube 22, the first plain bearing ring 30 forms a first travel limitation stop 36 and the second plain bearing ring 34 forms a second travel limitation stop 37 of the linear pull-out element 12 so that it can be prevented effectively that the pull-out tube 22 can unintentionally be pulled out of the stationary tube 21.
  • Due to the fact that the stationary tube 21, the pull-out tube 22, the first plain bearing ring 30 and the second plain bearing ring 34 form a non-detachable unit, both of the plain bearing ring appliances 19 and 20 and thus the entire linear pull-out element 12 are constructed so as to be particularly low-maintenance. Due to the fact that both of the plain bearing ring appliances 19, 20 are mounted directly on the housing bottom 8, they are furthermore protected particularly well against contaminations from the cooking compartment of the cooking oven 1 so that the entire linear pull-out element 12 represents a particularly durable and low-maintenance device.

Claims (9)

  1. An oven (1), in particular a cooking oven, comprising an oven housing (2), an oven cavity, an oven door (11) for closing an opening of the oven cavity in a closed position and a linear pull-out element (12) for the oven door (11), for linearly, in particular horizontally, transporting the oven door from a closed position into an opened position and from the opened position into the closed position, wherein the linear pull-out element (12) comprises a plain bearing appliance (19, 20), wherein the plain bearing appliance (19, 20) is disposed on a bottom (8) of the oven housing.
  2. The oven (1) according to claim 1, wherein the plain bearing appliance (19, 20) is disposed between the oven housing bottom (8) and a cooking compartment of the oven (1) and/or wherein the plain bearing appliance (19, 20) is disposed between the oven housing bottom (8) and a horizontally disposed support sheet (17) of the linear pull-out element (12) and/or wherein the plain bearing appliance (19, 20) is disposed between the oven housing bottom (8) and a support for items to be cooked.
  3. An oven (1), in particular a cooking oven, in particular oven according to claim 1 or 2, comprising an oven housing (2), an oven cavity, an oven door (11) for closing an opening of the oven cavity in a closed position and a linear pull-out element (12) for the oven door (11), for linearly, in particular horizontally, transporting the oven door from a closed position into an opened position and from the opened position into the closed position along a linear or horizontal transporting direction,
    wherein the linear pull-out element comprises at least one stationary tube (21) which is stationary or fixed with respect to the oven housing and at least one pull-out tube or rod (22) which is movable in the transporting direction with respect to the stationary tube and the stationary tube and the pull-out tube or rod are arranged telescopically or coaxially with regard to the transporting direction
  4. Oven according to claim 3 wherein the stationary tube and the pull-out tube or rod of the pull-out element have a circular cross-section or bearing surface.
  5. Oven according to claim 3 or 4, wherein the stationary tube is at the outside of the pull-out element and/or surrounds or encloses the pull-out tube or rod and/or wherein the outer tube or stationary tube has a completely closed wall surrounding a transporting axis and/or the inner tube or rod.
  6. Oven according to one of claims 3 to 5, wherein the linear pull-out element (12) comprises a plain bearing or a ball beating appliance (19, 20) being arranged between the stationary tube and the pull-out tube or rod and/or wherein plain or ball bearings (30, 34) are disposed between a stationary tube (21) of the linear pull-out element (12) and a pull-out tube (22) of the linear pull-out element (12) and/or wherein a first plain or ball bearing (30) is mounted on the pull-out tube (22), preferably at an end (32) facing away from the oven door (11), wherein preferably the first plain or ball beating (30) can be displaced as compared to the stationary tube (21), and/or wherein a second plain or ball bearing (34) is mounted on the stationary tube (21), preferably at an end (33) facing the oven door (11), wherein preferably the second plain or ball bearing (34) can be displaced as compared to the pull-out tube or rod (22).
  7. The oven (1) according to one of claims 3 to 6, wherein at least two stationary tubes (21) are connected with one another by means of an oven housing bottom (8) or bottom plate forming a bottom of the oven housing or being connected to the oven housing and/or are fixed to or onto the or a bottom plate (8) by means of at least one preferably two fixing brackets (23, 24).
  8. The oven (1) according to one of claims 3 to 7, wherein
    at least two pull-out tubes or rods (22) are connected in the front with one another by means of a, in particular reinforced or stiffened, sheet or rod (29) extending in a transversal and/or horizontal direction orthogonal to the transporting direction and/or by means of a support sheet (17) or support frame of the linear pull-out element (12) on top and/or in the front of the pull-out tubes or rods.
  9. Oven according to claim 8, wherein two door accommodation swords or carriers are arranged at the front of the pull-out element extending above the sheet or rod or support sheet.
