Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a paved Sidewalk section as a handicapped accessible crossing point between a carriageway and a walkway or bike path with a curbside built into a curb for wheelchair and Rollatorfahrer and a profiled Attention field for the visually impaired with a the Attention field in the direction of the roadway upstream keystone curb.
In the disability-friendly development of roads and Sidewalks, it is crucial that the disabled Road users with different physical Disabilities, such as the visually impaired or Wheelchair users, especially in the area of heavy traffic Roads, particularly secured crossings over the road, such as. Traffic light crossings or crosswalks, use can. The transitions between the sidewalk or Bike path and the roadway at these crossings to so Shaping that on the one hand for all the disabled walkways are easily accessible and on the other hand the limited extent of the secured transition consider.
A well-usable for the visually impaired roadway crossing must meet certain requirements, for example strongly different from those that wheelchair and Rollatorfahrer to appropriate crossings put. So be Visually impaired by a provided on the sidewalk profiled attention field, which she with her Touching the blind stick, on a nearby carriageway crossing pointed. Based on the road noise they are oriented Then head towards the carriageway and try the Road edge by tracking the curb by means of their barnacle. Visually impaired are thus on the presence of a curb reliant. This should be at least 3cm above the Lane levels are to prevent misinterpretations.
On the other hand curbs also make low altitude for Wheelchair users and in particular rollator driver sometimes impassable obstacle. Consequently, there are Wheelchair and Rollatorfahrer on special Curbs depended on the, ideally do not contain any level.
In a transition point known from practice, which for visually impaired and wheelchair or Rollator driver is suitable, both are one wheelchair accessible curb as well as on the Curb bordering attention field for Visually impaired. These are at a distance of a few meters apart at the edge of the road, so that visually impaired and wheelchair or Rollatorfahrer the Cross the lane at different places. This causes the transition point overall relative wide, which is problematic in terms of security is because the drivers of passing vehicles in one correspondingly wide zone with the road crossing Road users. Furthermore is disadvantageous that due to the different elements of the Transition point this is optically strongly dissected, which creates an unfavorable street scene.
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a paved Sidewalk section as a handicapped accessible crossing point between a carriageway and a walkway or bike path too which of wheelchair and walker riders, Visually impaired and other road users can be used equally well and without great Effort built into an existing walkway or bike path can be.
The object is achieved by a paved walkway section after the generic term of Claim 1 solved by the Curb drive and the tangible curb in a molded body with a visually impaired Profiling are summarized and that Attention field seen across the street in Extension of the curb on the sidewalk or Bike path is arranged.
By merging the field of attention and the Curb drive can be the installation of the crossing point with only a small amount of earthworks is required. The opposite to the known from the prior art Transition point greatly reduced width of the transition point according to the invention has the other Advantage that they also in places with limited Space, for example, in commercial streets or on Traffic light transitions, easy to use. It is the Usability by wheelchair and Rollatorfahrer on the one hand and the visually impaired on the other hand in any way limited. By doing that the field of attention According to the invention seen transversely to the road in extension the curb on the sidewalk or bike path is arranged, eliminates the road side Curb, the otherwise visually impaired than Identification feature for the edge of the road is used. This one will According to the invention by a visually impaired Profiling of the molding replaced, at the itself Visually impaired people orient themselves well with their stick can. At the same time wheelchair or Rollatorfahrer easily as the curb Trained moldings happen to the roadway too cross.
According to a first embodiment of the invention is the visually impaired profiling of the molding as Grooved profile aligned transversely to the roadway educated. Such grooves are made by the DIN 32984 especially recommended, as they are by means of a It is particularly easy to analyze the blind stick tactile. Unlike, for example, a knobbed profile a groove profile with the orientation of the grooves one Preferred direction, the trained visually impaired one easy orientation in relation to one's own position relative to the road allows.
Practical tests have shown that grooves of the have special advantages with a trapezoidal profile. in the Contrary to the widespread wave profiles is one Trapezoidal profile is still good, even when heavily soiled palpable with a cane.
In contrast to the molding, it is advantageous that Attention field to be provided with a knob profile.
Because the field of attention is just the attention of the visually impaired, without him necessarily to prompt a change of direction, Preferably, the non-directional knob profile is used.
The curbside driveway and the same time Distinguishing feature for visually impaired performing Shaped body can be designed in various ways. Particularly preferred is a shaped body which has a central transitional area and two the Transition area comprises encompassing connection areas, the central transition area being a sloping one Surface section as a continuous transition between the Level of the carriageway and that of the walkway or bike path and the connection areas an outward in Direction of the adjacent curb pointed sloping surface section as a steady transition between the contour of the transition area and that of the Curb and that the visually impaired Profiling on the respective sloping Surface portions of the transition and the Connection area is provided.
The sloping surface section of the central Transition area allows for a comfortable, because continuous up and down of wheelchair users. Of the steady transition between the contour of the Transitional section and that of the adjacent curb ensures an accident-free passage of the Transitional section even with an oblique up and Departure. By profiling the sloping Surface sections of both areas is the Transition point also for the visually impaired fast find and thus enables these persons one Safe transition on the roadway without having wheelchairs or Rollatorfahrer also at oblique driveway through the Profiling be hampered.
Preferably, the field of attention is symmetrical to Shaped body arranged. This means that the perpendicular arranged to the roadway central axis of the Attention field with the central axis of the molding coincides. By this measure, the Walkway section according to the invention optically particularly be designed attractively.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of Invention is the breadth of the attention field measured in the longitudinal direction of the lane is less than or equal to essentially equal to the width of the central one Transition region of the molding. This will achieve that the visually impaired always use the transition area to from the sidewalk or bike path on the road or in to move in the opposite direction, and thus the oblique avoid running surfaces of the connection areas, which can confuse the visually impaired.
Preferably, the shaped body is designed in several parts. Preferably, the connection areas are each from a molded body part and the transition area depending on desired width of the transition point of one or formed a plurality of molded body parts. Especially at Such broad transition points lead to such multi-part solution not to transport and Verladeproblemen.
A particularly cost-effective production of the Transition-forming elements can be characterized achieve that the molded body as precast concrete is trained.
The design of the top of the transition region can be done in different ways. So can to one of the sloping surface section of the Transition area over the entire top extend, whereby its slope is reduced. To an alternative embodiment, the sloping Surface section but also road and / or bicycle or walkway through each one just trained Be banded.
In case of a particularly high to the crossing point adjacent curb, it makes sense, at least the the shaped body immediately adjacent curb elements with one in each case in the direction of the shaped body form sloping top.
According to a further advantageous embodiment the width of the transition region of the molding parallel to the lane 1 m and the width of the Connection areas each 0.5 m. This is ensures that the formed from the molding Transition point even with inaccurate approach by a Wheelchair users through this easy and accident free can be passed. On the other hand, that is Transition point also in their extension parallel to Roadway sufficiently limited, so the risk especially for visually impaired people, of which safe way to cross the road, is minimized.
According to another teaching of the invention is the Shaped body for installation on a street corner educated. Here, particular consideration is given that a large part of secured road crossings in form of traffic light crossings on street corners in the intersection or Turning area is arranged.
To a street corner as a starting point for a Road crossing by the from the invention Form body formed transition point for the physically disabled fully usable, is the transition area expediently to form a curve contour composed of a plurality of straight molded body parts, wherein the joints between the stones to the road side expand wedge-shaped. After an alternative Design is the transitional area under education a curved contour of several curved, im essentially gapless adjacent Molded body parts assembled. To the comparatively small radius of the road curvature on a street corner to reproduce, it is useful if the length of the Transition region forming moldings parts, respectively less than 1 m, and preferably 0.5 m or 0.33 m is.

angrenzenden Bordsteins 7 stirnseitig an.
As further illustrated in FIG. 1, it follows

The molded body part shown in FIG. 3 has a
