Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Automat zur dezentralen Herstellung und Ausgabe von Dokumenten, mit welchen nach Bereitstellung von den Gegenwert eines Dokuments repräsentierenden Werteinheiten das Dokument individualisiert und mit einem maschinell prüfbaren Echtheitscode versehen wird. Der Automat weist eine Speichervorrichtung für neutrales Dokumentenmaterial mit wenigstens einer Echtheitsinformation auf, die mittels eines Merkmalstoffs dargestellt wird, der eine maschinell prüfbare physikalische Eigenschaft aufweist. Der Automat weist ferner eine Lesevorrichtung auf, mit welcher die Echtheitsinformation detektierbar und damit die Echtheitsinformation lesbar ist, ein Sicherheitsmodul, in welchem die Echtheitsinformation zu einem Echtheitscode verarbeitet wird, eine Schreibvorrichtung, mit welcher der Echtheitscode auf das Dokumentenmaterial aufgebracht wird sowie eine Ausgabevorrichtung für das fertige Dokument.

The machine also has a reading device with which the authenticity information can be detected and thus the authenticity information can be read, a security module in which the authenticity information is processed into an authenticity code, a writing device with which the authenticity code is applied to the document material and an output device for the finished document.
