Abstract

The present invention relates generally to the transport of copies in a folder. In the exemplary embodiments, at least one pair of interacting cutting cylinders (6), each with at least one cutting knife (12) and one cutting rail (13), are provided. A conveyor plane (15) extends essentially in the vertical direction. A left and a right conveyor arrangement (17, 16) are assigned to the conveyor level (15). The interacting cutting cylinders (6) are integrated in the paths of the conveying elements (18, 19) of the left and right conveying arrangement (17, 16) and grip a material web (1) before they carry out a cutting process.
