Definitions
- the invention relates to a glass vessel for liquids, the outer surface of which is provided with a heart-shaped indentation, the symbolic heart tip facing the bottom of the vessel.
- Such a glass vessel is known from DE-A-2 320 671, the heart-shaped indentation for forming a support shoulder lying inside the vessel for the respective removal device, such as e.g. Spoon or brush.
- the aim is to create a glass vessel, in particular a glass bottle, which can be held securely in the hand by means of this heart-shaped indentation.
- the glass vessel should be adapted as well as possible to a human hand so that the latter can nestle well against the glass vessel.
- bottles with such indentations can already be gripped and held better than bottles without such indentations, the already proposed indentations for safe holding can still be improved since they are not adapted to a human hand enough.
- the bottle to be created should be improved in this regard, it should be possible that the bottle can be manufactured with reasonable effort, the bottle can still be handled on the usual filling lines (washing, filling, labeling).
- the bottle to be created should also continue with a relatively high weight they can lie well in the hand (suitable center of gravity when pouring out of the bottle).
- the bottle according to the invention is characterized in that the width of both heart wings and thus the width of the indentation extends so far over the diameter of a bottle with the capacity of 0.33 liters that a human Hans surface can come to lie in the indentation when the vessel is handled that the heart gusset comes to rest in a hand gusset.
- the bottle has a conical outer surface 1 and a cylindrical outer surface 2.
- the cylindrical outer surface 2 is provided with a heart-shaped indentation 4 over the height 3.
- this heart shape of the indentation 4 is symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal axis 5 of the bottle.
- the heart shape of the indentation 4 symmetrically divided into two heart wings 6, these two heart wings 6 lying congruently one behind the other.
- the symbolic heart tip 7 (ie the heart shape does not have to end pointed) faces the bottle bottom 8.
- the upper gusset 9 and the lower tip 7 of the heart thus lie in the longitudinal axis 5.
- heart-shaped indentation 4 lies within the lower half of the bottle height.
- the heart-shaped indentation is ergonomically adapted to a human hand, you naturally have to compromise on the dimensions of the indentation, since the human hand varies greatly in size between a child and an adult. Essentially constant sizes are determined for the dimensioning of the indentation, regardless of whether the bottle has an intake volume of 0.33 liters or 1 liter.
- the bottle is used to hold a drink, it will usually be made of glass.
- the bottle is used to hold e.g. Oil, so you can also make the bottle from a plastic. Since the heart-shaped indentation 4 does not merge into the adjacent cylindrical outer surface with sharp edges, the stability of the bottle made of a plastic is not impaired by the heart-shaped indentation 4; it can even be increased by this reduction in the peripheral area in the area of height 3.
- the V-shaped hand gusset 12 lying between the thumb 10 and index finger 11 is adapted to the gusset 9 of the heart-shaped indentation 4.
- the thumb 10 with the ball of the thumb 13 can here largely in one heart wing 6 lie. Furthermore, part of the index finger and the ball of the ball lie in the other heart wing 6.
- FIGS. 4 and 5 show a second position of the hand holding the bottle, this second position being diametrically opposite to the aforementioned first position.
- the fingers of the hand holding the bottle can now lie in the heart-shaped indentation 4 and thus securely reach behind the bottle if the hand and the bottle are of a corresponding size to one another.
- FIGS. 4 and 5 With a 1 liter bottle, on the other hand, only the first position of the hand shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 will be selected.
- the respective height of the heart-shaped indentation 4 with respect to the bottle base 8 is selected so that the filled bottle is in equilibrium when held horizontally when the bottle is held in the hand.
