Abstract
Soot filter system in the exhaust system a diesel engine includes at least two soot filters connected in parallel (5, 6). For regeneration tion is a regeneration device with at least one burner (10) provided and the soot filters (5, 6) of the soot filter system Control flaps (8) upstream, by means of which to the right Generating soot filter from the flow of exhaust gases in the Exhaust tract is uncoupled. The Brenner (10), for regeneration tion of the soot filter provides hot combustion gases Exhaust gas from the exhaust system operated as an oxygen carrier serves and it is arranged downstream of the control valve (8). According to A first preferred embodiment is a common one Burner (10) provided for all soot filters to be regenerated and this is not directly in the exhaust gas pipes the exhaust system. It is preferably separated with exhaust gas Exhaust gas supply lines (11) supplied. Alternatively, any branch line (3, 4) in which the respective Soot filter (5, 6) is a separate one ter burner can be assigned, which directly in the soot filter in Line section can be connected upstream. Such a burner can directly through the leak emerging from the control flaps amount of exhaust gas are supplied. Alternatively, the Burners that only match the respective line branch with the respective soot filters are also assigned in one of these Line sections branching branch line arranged and the burner will then be using a separate exhaust supply line supplied.
