Abstract

A logic toy has two parts (1, 2) that can rotate against each other and have each a middle part (16, 17). Around each middle part (16, 17) are concentrically arranged six hollow cylindrical containers (3-8; 9-14). Each container is longer than the previous one by always the same amount. Both parts are symmetrical with respect to the plan of rotation. In an initial ordered state, the containers of one part contain each between one and six balls of the same color (19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24), the balls of each pair of containers having a different color. By turning both parts against each other and by tilting the toy, one creates a state of disorder out of the initial ordered state. The original ordered state is then to be re-established by rotating as appropriate both parts against each other and by tilting the toy, in as few steps as possible.

Description

The present invention relates to a logic toy with two halves which can be rotated with respect to one another and each have an equal number of transparent containers which are open on one side and are arranged in a circle parallel to the axis of rotation in a circle around the axis of rotation, the open container ends of one half facing the open container ends of the other Half directed and with the containers loosely contained to transport objects in and out.

Logical toys are known which are based on the basic principle of first creating a disorder from an existing order and then, if possible, recreating the initially prevailing order by means of systematic considerations. A logical toy of this type, designed as a cube, is described in Hungarian Patent No. 170062. This toy, which is designed as a cube, has a mechanically complicated structure, and furthermore, the logic of restoring the original order to a wide range of people who are interested in such toys is known, which also removes the incentive to play with this known toy.

From GB-A-2086240 a logical toy according to the preamble of claim 1 is known. Here, however, the transparent, one-sided open containers of one rotatable half are not arranged identically to the one-sided open containers of the other rotatable half, so that only one open container of the one rotatable half is brought into register with an open container of the other rotatable half at a time can be. Thus, the order of the game objects changes only with respect to the two precisely aligned, one-sided open containers, while the order in all other one-sided open containers is maintained. However, the gameplay is relatively easy to understand and the order can be quickly created.

It is therefore an object of the present invention, a logical toy of the type mentioned, which in principle requires other logical considerations in order to bring the disordered state back into the orderly state, so that for players who have known solutions to playing with the above Know toys that are not obvious solutions for playing with the new toy to be created.

Diese Aufgabe erfüllt das Spielzeug mit den Merkmalen des Patentanspruches 1.The toy fulfills this task with the features of claim 1.

Preferred embodiments of the invention result from the dependent claims.

  • Fig. 2 einen Längsschnitt gemäss Linie 11-11 der Fig. 3.
  • Fig. 3 eine Draufsicht auf das Spielzeug.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention and its use are described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawing. Show it:
  • 1 is an exploded perspective view of the two container parts of the toy,
  • 2 shows a longitudinal section along line 11-11 of FIG. 3rd
  • Fig. 3 is a plan view of the toy.

According to the perspective representation in FIG. 1, the logical toy comprises two parts 1 and 2, each of which comprises six hollow cylindrical, transparent containers 3-8 and 9-14. The containers 3-8 are arranged concentrically around a central part 16 provided with a bore 15 and connected to it, for example glued or formed integrally therewith. The containers 9-14 of the opposite part 2, which is symmetrical with respect to the plane of rotation, are likewise arranged concentrically around a central part 18 provided with a bore 17 and connected to it in the same way. The containers 3-8 resp. 9-14 of each part 1 and 2 have the same diameter, the length of one container to the neighboring container increases by the same amount. On the side where the containers 3-8 and 9-14 of the two parts 1 and 2 face each other, they are open, but closed at the other ends. In the assembled state of the toy, when the two parts 1 and 2 are rotatably fastened to one another with respect to one another, and the containers 3 and 9, 4 and 10, 5 and 11, 6 and 12, 7 and 13 and 8 and 14 are opposite each other , the two parts are symmetrical with respect to the plane of rotation.

The hollow cylindrical containers 3-8 and 9-14 are provided on their outer, closed end with color markings 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 and 32, which correspond to the colors of the balls contained in the containers of a part.

The cutting plane is placed in the middle through the containers 3 and 6 as well as 9 and 12. A white ball 19 is provided in container 9, two black balls 20 in container 10, three green 21 in container 11, four red 22 in container 12, five yellow 23 in container 13 and six blue balls 24 in container 14 Balls could of course be chosen differently. In this arrangement, the toy is in order, that is, in the starting or end position. The spheres could also be distinguished, for example, by numbers or letters or other symbols. The two middle parts 16 and 17 are held together by a screw 25 and a nut 26 such that they can be rotated relative to one another. In the starting or end position, the balls are in the order state, ie balls of the same color are always present in a container of part 1 or 2. If the balls are to be transferred from the order to the disordered state, the two parts 1 and 2 are rotated relative to one another, so that there are no longer two containers of equal length. Then it will Toys tilted so that the balls from part 2 at least partially get into part 1. Now the two parts 1 and 2 are rotated against each other in a third position and the toy is then tilted again, so that at least some of the balls from part 1 return to part 2. These twisting and tilting movements are carried out until the desired state of disorder, ie the best possible mixing of the various spherical colors in the individual containers of part 1 or 2, is produced. Now it is important to restore the original order, by choosing the correct twisting steps of the two parts 1 and 2 with respect to one another and by tilting the toy accordingly, ie the state in which there are only balls of the same color or marking in a container of a part . In the end position, after successful completion of the game, there is a white ball in container 3 or 9, two black in container 4 or 10, three green in container 5 or 11, four red in container 6 or 12, in container 7 or 13 five yellow and in the container 8 or 14 six blue balls, depending on whether part 1 or 2 is at the bottom.

It is of course possible to reduce or increase the number of containers per part, to change their length and also to select the number of balls per container part differently. For example, an embodiment is conceivable in which only a part in length or. containers graduated in volume and the other part only containers of the same length, respectively. has the same volume. In this embodiment, at least one part of the part with containers of different lengths must have a different length from the other containers, in which case the play process is considerably easier than in the exemplary embodiment described and shown in the drawing.
