Abstract

A waterproof key, particularly for locks of bath-house locker doors, which can be worn on the arm of a bathing guest, comprising a strip of material having an opening code. The material is sufficiently flexible to permit the strip to be bent to form an arm band of different diameter for encircling the arm of a wearer.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen am Arm oder dergleichen, insbesondere von Badegästen, tragbaren, wasserfesten Schlüssel für Schlösser von insbesondere Badeanstalt-Schließfachtüren.The invention relates to an arm or the like, in particular for bathers, portable, waterproof keys for locks, in particular bathhouse locker doors.

Ein Schlüssel dieser Art ist bspw. durch das DE-GM 70 45 397 bekannt. Das mit dem Schlüssel bestückte Armband trägt eine Verschlußschnalle, deren Dorn sich das jeweilige Steckloch selbst sticht. Für den Schlüssel ist ein besonderer Träger vorgesehen. Letzterer ist als Tasche realisiert. Deren flächengrößere Breitseitenwand weist Durchzugschlitze auf und läßt sich so auf das Armband aufschieben. Die Tasche hält den wasserfest ausgebildeten Schlüssel in Querlage zum Bandverlauf, was zu einem nicht unerheblichen beidseitigen Überstand führt und nicht selten Anlaß zu Verletzungen im Badebetrieb gibt. Zum Benutzen muß der handhabenseitig um einen Zapfen gelagerte Schlüssel aus der Tasche unter Überlaufen besonderer Rastmittel ausgeschwenkt werden, wozu aber eine gewisse Fingerfertigkeit gehört.A key of this type is known, for example, from DE-GM 70 45 397. Bei dieser völlig neuartigen Ausgestaltung ist der den Armreif bildende Streifen selbst der schlüssel. Der klassische, in der Regel fertigungsaufwendige Schlüssel wird verzichtbar. Stattdessen kommt einfach ein kodierbarer Streifen zur Anwendung. Die Kodierung kann als Lochkodierung oder aber an einer Magnetbeschichtung realisiert sein. Dabei kann in einfacher Weise vom Band gearbeitet werden. Zweckmäßig kommt handelsübliches, auf Vorratsrollen aufgewickeltes Kunststoff-Ma- terial zur Anwendung. Dieses bietet die gewünschte Wasserfestigkeit ohne besonderen Mehraufwand. Der Streifen ist auch genügend fle- xibel und nachgiebig. Außerdem treten keine die Streifenbreite überragenden Überstände mehr auf. Um ein sicheres Schließen des Streifens zu erreichen, wird weiter vorgeschlagen, daß die Seitenränder des Streifens mindestens über eine Teillänge desselben mit reihenförmig hintereinanderliegenden Kerben ausgestattet sind und im gegenüberliegenden Endbereich ein Kreuzschfitz vorgesehen Ist mit entsprechend unterschiedlich langen Schlitzen. So kommt auch die übliche Schnalle in Fortfall. Das randskalierte Ende wird einfach durch den Kreuzschlitz des anderen Endes hindurch eingezogen, wobei die Verrastung zwischen den Kerben und dem Querbalken des Kreuzschlitzes stattfindet. Hierzu weist der Streifen St eine Randskalierung auf, d. h. die parallelverlaufenden Seitenränder 8 des Streifens bilden in reihenförmiger Hinterelnanderlage randsitig offene Kerben 9 aus. Die Kerbentiefe entspricht etwa dem doppelten Maß der StreIfendicke, ebenso die Kerbenbreite. Der Kerbengrund ist ausgerundet. Die Kerben 8 beider Seitenränder liegen jeweils auf einer gemeinsamen Querebene E-E. Der Kerbenabstand x in Streifenlängsrichtung entspricht etwa dem Lochabstand bekannter Schnalienbänder. Dieser Kreuzschlitzabschnitt 12 erstreckt sich in der Längsmittelebene des Streifens und reicht bis kurz vor die freie Stirnkante 13 des Streifens St. Der kreuzend dazu liegende Kreuzschlitzabschnitt 14 entspricht in seiner Länge dem Abstandsmaß y von Kerbengrund zu Kerbengrund der jeweils auf einer gemeinsamen Querebene E-E liegenden Kerben eines Kerbenpaares. Die vor den entsprechenden Schlitzenden verbliebenen Materialbrücken 15 zum Seitenrand 8 hin greifen schlupfsicher in die jeweils paarig angeordneten Kerben 9 ein. Hierzu wird der eingesteckte Endbereich 10, ausgehend von der in Längsrichtung orientierten Längstage, um 90° verdreht. Das durchtretende Ende 1 dient hierzu als Drehknebel. Bei diesem Drehen falten sich die durch die Kreuzschlitzung erzielten Winkellappen a ausweichend aus dem Wege, um mit Erreichen der zuordnungsgerechten Verschlußlage wieder sperrend in ihre Ausgangsstellung zurückzufedern. Durch die Kreuzschlitzung unter Berücksichtigung des in Richtung der Stirnkante 13 versetzten Kreuzungspunktes weisen die streifeneinwärts liegenden Lappen eine höhere Flexibilität auf als die kürzeren, und demzufolge standstabileren Lappen jenseits des Kreuzschlitzabschnitts 14. Die entsprechende vollständige Rückstellung in die Streifenebene vermeidet jedwedes Verhaken des Streifen-Schlüssels im Schacht 5 der Leseeinrichtung 6. Der Streifen St kann dort ganz durchgezogen werden. Je nach Ausrüstung kann es aber auch als ausreichend angesehen werden, wenn nur eine Teillänge des Streifens für die Kennung eingeschoben wird.The opposite end region 10 functions as a "buckle".
