Description

Competition is intensifying in all forms of retail. This competition is two-sided. It is carried out first between the dealers among themselves; the second level of competition is the various manufacturers of the goods offered and sold by the dealers (hereinafter referred to as industry). Based on these considerations, the invention relates to a shelf divider system comprising at least one partition that can be erected perpendicular to the longitudinal shelf direction on a shelf.

Such a shelf divider system is known, for example, in libraries, where an L-shaped sheet metal part is used to support an end-to-end book of a row of books that does not take up the entire width of the shelf compartment, and with one leg it engages under the end-end and possibly some other adjacent books and with its other leg rests on the exposed side of the final book.

The invention has for its object to offer a shelf divider system, which consists of standard parts and allows adaptation to different height distances between stacked shelves and also to different shelf depths. The invention also intends to provide a shelf divider system which is simple, inexpensive, user-friendly, easy to store and easy to ship in its construction.

To achieve this object, it is proposed according to the invention that the partition wall is formed by a plastic plate with at least one horizontal and / or at least one vertical predetermined breaking point.

The partitions are therefore manufactured and sold in a size that corresponds to the greatest practical distance between stacked shelves and the greatest practical shelf depth and which is then brought to the required dimension at the installation site by breaking off along the predetermined breaking line can.

Particularly important connecting parts are feet which, if necessary, also allow a single partition to be set up on a shelf. Such feet can be designed in the simplest way L-shaped, where = one L-leg forms the partition wall contact flange and the other L-leg comes to rest flush with the lower edge of the respective partition on the respective shelf. Experiments have shown that it is advantageous to attach two connection hooks one above the other on such a base. Occasionally there is a requirement that two identical connection parts are attached to the same partition from both sides.
