Needle for injection syringes
For conduction anesthesia in the lower jaw
At the moment only the simple cannula is used with the injection technique practiced up to now
there is no possibility of anesthetizing the three participants during a puncture
To reach nerves (nervus alveolaris mandibularis, nervus buccalis, nervus lingualis).
Up to now, at least two punctures and dangerous swiveling of the cannula were required.
When using the multiple cannula according to the invention, the anesthesia is simplified
Injection technique to achieve with simultaneous delivery of the injection agent from
different sizes and in different places according to the anatomical conditions
defined openings of the multiple cannula combined into one piece for actuation
of the mandibular alveolar nerve, the buccal nerve and the lingual nerve

Anesthesia of the three nerves can be achieved using the multiple cannula.
This multiple cannula is described in two embodiments as follows:
I. The cannula with two channels (double cannula) consists of one piece, has one
Diameter of about 1.4 mm and contains two different channels with a lumen
of about 0.7 mm, A, and 0.4 mm, B, with a corresponding passage of about 75
O / o and 25 O / o of the injection liquid, with about 65 to 700/0 for the oblique
downward, posterior alveolar mandibular nerve, about 20 to 23 ovo
are intended for the anteriorly sloping buccal nerve, and the
Lingual nerve the remainder from 7 to 150 / o at the end of the injection on withdrawal
the double cannula initially only receives 8 to 10 mm. Correspondingly lies in the cross section
of the double cannula, seen in the direction of the injection, is the channel with the lumen 0.70
mm to the rear, the channel with the lumen 0.40 mm is exactly opposite to the front.
The mean distance of the outflow openings from the rounded tip of the
The double cannula is about 1 to 2 mm for the larger channel a and about 2 to 3 mm
at the smaller channel b. The length of the double cannula is 35 mm to the tip of the syringe.
Sie ist für beide Unterkieferseiten verwendbar. It can be used for both sides of the lower jaw.
2. The three-channel cannula (triple cannula) also exists
made of one piece, has a diameter of about 1.4 mm and contains three different ones
Channels with a lumen of about 0.65 mm, A, 0.45 mm, B, and 0.30 mm, C, hot one
corresponding passage of the injection liquid of about 65%, 250/0 and 100%.
The 65 o / o are for the mandibular alveolar nerve, which lies obliquely downwards,
the 250/0 for the buccal nerve lying obliquely upwards near the front, the IO ° / o
for the lingual nerve lying medially between the two. Accordingly lies
in the cross section of the triple cannula in the direction of the injection into the right side of the lower jaw
seen the canal with the lumen 0.30 mm downwards, the width 0.65 mm diagonally downwards
right back downwards, the width a45 mm obliquely to the left front upwards. For the
Injection in the left side of the lower jaw is the arrangement of the widths o, 65 mm and
0.45mm reversed. The mean distance of the outflow openings from all sides
round tip of the triple cannula is about 1 to 2 mm with the width o.65 mm,
a, about 2 to 3 mm for the width 0.45 mm, h, and about 8 to 9 mm for the width 0.30
mm, c. This opening c is shown in the drawing in plan view, i.e. from above,
to represent them at all. In reality this is exactly around 180 °
opposite, so down, which cannot be shown in the drawing. The length
the triple cannula is 35 mm to the tip of the syringe. It is for each side of the lower jaw
to be made separately and is marked with an embossed mark on the tip of the syringe
R for the right side of the jaw and L for the left side of the jaw.
The difference between the two embodiments is the
Use in that the double cannula can be used bilaterally (right
and left lower jaw), with regard to the puncture monochronous (one-time), with regard to
the depot system of the injection agent is dichronous (two-time). The triple cannula
is unolateral in its application (only for one side of the jaw), however
with regard to the punctures and the depot system monochronous (one-time).
Both forms are required for practice. so that the
new injection technology, initially with the double cannula, learners have the option
has, with any remainder of the injection agent remaining in the syringe
with the same cannula and a possibly necessary second puncture, the
is hardly felt painful any more, the nervus that is probably not completely numbed
buccalis completely anesthetized.
Those who are trained and familiar with the new injection technique work
then safely and fully at once with the double and triple cannula.
