Washing machine with thermometer As the laundry depending on its type
must be treated at different temperatures, it is known that z. B. wool
and silk cannot be boiled, it is important to have a thermometer with the washing machine
connect to. Thermostatic thermometers are particularly suitable for this. These
are already used on oven doors and are built into the door for this purpose,
but so that the front wall is isolated from its rear wall, so not
from this the heat is transferred to the front wall or vice versa does not flow back
a lower temperature to the rear wall of the oven door. The purpose of this is a false ad
the thermometer. Also, thermostats are in contact with boiler walls
used, depending on the temperature in the boiler by means of the thermostat box
to adjust a valve. However, there is the surface contact between the thermostat socket
and boiler wall is not a constant one, rather it changes with the action
the heat with the different deflection of the adjacent wall of the can, because
the boiler wall is cylindrical. Thermostat boxes as temperature indicators also come
in flattening machines for use, in whose housing they are embedded and on which they
are screwed tight. This is easy with such housings that are made of cast
possible.
The invention deals with the use of such thermostatic boxes
Washing machine boilers. These kettles are made of thin sheet metal to which the
The thermostat box cannot be screwed on without perforating the boiler wall.
As a result, the aforementioned known type of fastening of the thermostat boxes
Do not use on washing kettles made of sheet metal. According to the invention, the wall of the washing machine boiler is now
pulled into a housing for the can-shaped metal thermometer, which is in this
Housing is sunk and is held in it without damaging the boiler wall.

Kesselwand a gebracht wird.
A metal thermometer is suitably used with the boiler wall a
c connected, the rear wall c 'in as intimate a metallic connection as possible with the
Boiler wall a is brought. For this purpose, the rear wall of the thermometer socket could be in
adapt to the curvature of the boiler wall a, or it will be, as shown in fig. z and 3
is, somewhat sunk with a level floor h, against which the also level floor of the
Can c is pressed tightly. The can is then through a with the boiler wall a
connected ring d held. The connection could, for example by a bayonet lock,
be detachable in order to be able to replace the thermometer if necessary. This is also
possible if it is held in place by a snap ring e (section 3). This is at the same time
a resilient pressure of the can c on the boiler wall a is achieved.
