Fig. 3 und 4 zeigen in zwei 90° zueinander verdrehten Darstellungen ein Ausführungsbeispiel einer Endoprothese gemäß der Erfindung zur Halterung einer Kugel 5 an einem nicht dargestellten Röhrenknochen. Die Kugel 5 greift im Ergebnis in eine Lagerschale 2 eines Grundkörpers 1 gemäß Fig. 1 und 2 ein, wobei allerdings die Darstellung in den Fig. 3 und 4 gegenüber der gemäß den Fig. 1 und 2 verklei nert ist. Die Kugel 5 sitzt fest auf einem Konus 6 an einem Ende eines Grundkörpers 7, der so geformt ist, daß er in einen vorbereiteten Hohlraum eines Röhrenknochens einsetzbar ist. An dem Grundkörper 7 befinden sich Rippen 8, die nach außen hin scharfe Kanten 9 haben und in Einsetzrichtung spitz zu- und auslaufen. Beim Einbringen des Grundkörpers 7 in einen komplementär dazu erzeugten Hohlraum in einem Röh renknochen graben sich die Rippen 6 in die festeren Bereiche des Knochens ein, wodurch der Grundkörper 7 fest insbesonde re auch gegen Drehbewegungen gehalten ist.
