Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a video recorder according to the Preamble of claim 1.
Such video recorders either work in recording mode or in playback mode. In practice it happens that with the cassette is played back and the There is a desire to watch another broadcast from one at the same time Record video signal source. For this shot is a second video recorder necessary, which is often not available is.
The invention has for its object a videore train the corder so that the recorder has several at the same time Can perform functions, especially at the same time a how and a recording.
This object is achieved by the inven in claim 1 solved. Advantageous developments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.
The invention is based on the following consideration. In contrast for playback of pure audio recordings such as B. con certified music becomes a video recording in many cases reproduced only once anyway, e.g. B. during recording of news programs, current programs and feature films for the purpose of time-shifted playback. In In these cases, it is not a nuisance when recording is deleted immediately after its playback. That's why can record immediately after playback deleted and replaced by a new record. The Effort is relatively low because of the playback and the Recording the same head drum is used. It results better utilization of the recorder since now playback at the same time as the tape runs and a record is made. If these two operations separated in time or on separate video recorders double recorder runtime would be required Lich.
According to a further development of the invention, this can be done with the heads fen reproduced signal in a signal processing scarf revised with regard to various parameters and improved, possibly with additional information like explanations and subtitles and then with ge slight delay with the other heads almost simultaneously reprocessed accordingly recorded on the tape will. Such a method for editing Videosi gnalen is described in more detail in DE-OS 35 24 097.
The signal sampled during playback and the Simultaneously recorded signals must be in sync with each other be because the beginning of a field for both signals coincide with the beginning of the scanning of a helical track got to. Therefore, according to a development of the invention in A memory is provided on the way of the recorded signal. The signal to be recorded is abge from this signal passed clock read into memory and with one out the reproduced signal or from the head drum clocked from memory in sync with the reproduced Si gnal read out.
Since with the same head drum a recording at the same time operation and a playback operation must take place because of the very different levels when recording and when Playback additional means for decoupling the signals be seen. These can be shielded in a particularly good manner tion, a sufficient geometric distance between the respective heads for recording and playback or in a fre there is an offset in the signals. According to an execution In the form of the invention, the recording and the re-take place gift time decoupled. That means that in each field either is only written or only read.
Darin zeigenAn embodiment of the invention is based on the drawing explained. Show in it

FIG. 4 shows a reproduction circuit for the type of recording according to FIG. 3.
In Fig. 1, the magnetic tape 1 around the rotating in the direction 2 de head drum 3 around the principle of helical recording. A tape is included on tape 1. This is scanned with the video heads K 1 , K 2 . The signal obtained from the heads K 1 , K 2 is the playback circuit 4 and supplied with the picture tube 5 and the loudspeaker 6 .
Opposed to the direction of rotation 2 offset, ie towards the heads K 1 , K 2 , two erase heads L 1 , L 2 are arranged on the head drum 3 , which are fed by the erase generator 7 ge. The with the heads K 1 , K 2 reproduced on record is deleted immediately after the scanning with the heads L 1 , L 2 . Behind the extinguishing heads L 1 , L 2 , two white heads K 3 , K 4 are provided. The heads K 3 , K 4 are designed as rei ne recording heads. The recording circuit contains the switch 9 , the output in the position a to the tuner output of the television radio receiver 10 , in the position b to the output of the video recorder 11 , in the position c to the output of the camera 12 , in the position d the SCART socket 13 and in position e can be connected to the output of the processor 14 . The switch 9 enables a selection between video signals from different sources, which are to be recorded simultaneously with the playback described. The signal S 2 from the output of the switch 9 is fed to the memory M 1 . Horizontal-frequency pulses H 2 and vertical-frequency pulses V 2 are derived from the signal S 2 in the synchronizing pulse separation stage 21 . These pulses serve as clock pulses for reading the signal S 2 into the memory M 1 . From signal S 1 from amplifier 4 , corresponding signals H 1 , V 1 are obtained in synchronizing pulse isolating stage 22, which signals are thus synchronous with signal S 1 . The pulses H 1 and V 1 control the readout process from the memory M 1 . At the output of the memory M 1 it then appears a corresponding time-shifted signal S 2 'which is synchronous with the signal S 1 with regard to the temporal position of the fields. This signal reaches the heads K 3 and K 4 and is thus drawn immediately after playback with the heads K 1 and K 2 and the deletion with the heads L 1 and L 2 . The time difference between the reproduction of the signal S 1 with the heads K 1 , K 2 and the recording of the signal S 2 with the heads K 3 , K 4 is only a few ms and is immaterial.
An output of the playback circuit 4 is connected to the input of a signal processor 14 . The processor 14 is a circuit that revises the reproduced signal with respect to various parameters. The processor 14 includes z. B. a so-called crispening circuit to increase the image sharpness, circuits for drop-out compensation or circuits for vertical correction of the finish. Additional signals can also be inserted in the processor 14 , e.g. B. a dubbing, subtitling or the like. The video signal processed in this way passes through the switch 9 in the position e to the input of the memory M 1 and is accordingly processed with a slight delay or improved with the heads K 3 , K 4 like that recorded on magnetic tape 1 . The recorder is then used to improve an existing record on tape 1 visually the signal quality and to record again with a slight spatial offset on the same magnetic tape.
Fig. 2 shows the corresponding measure for the sound when it is recorded on a longitudinal track 15 parallel to the edge of the tape 15 of the magnetic tape 1 . The tape 1 is guided in the direction 16 in a so-called longitudinal movement past the sound head 17 , which device 18 delivers the sound signal NF 1 via the playback circuit. Immediately afterwards, the sound recording is deleted with the delete head L 3 fed by the generator 7 . Shortly thereafter, another or a prepared audio signal NF 2 is recorded on the longitudinal track 15 via the recording circuit 19 and the head 20 .
The described simultaneous playback and recording with the same head drum can cause the following problem. The Signal level when recording is about 2 V during the Signal level during playback is only a few µV. This can cause the signal on the playback head to be the signal from the recording head are so disturbed that the reproduced signal is no longer usable. Ge According to further training, the recording is therefore carried out Never play and play at the same time, but alternate alternating in time.
Such a solution with time decoupling by a time-nested recording and playback is explained with reference to FIG. 3.
It is assumed that the head drum 2 has only the heads K 1 and K 2 and the erase heads L 1 and L 2 . Through defined and reproducible assignment of the two heads K 1 , K 2 to the odd and even numbered helical tracks on the magnetic tape 1, the head K 1 basically only covers tracks No. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, ..... For the reproduction of the signal S 1 , only the signal of the head K 1 is evaluated. This means that only odd-numbered tracks 1-9 are read. Correspondingly, the head K 2 only covers the even-numbered tracks 2, 4, 6, 8, ... through the assignment and the servo control. With the head K 2 , the recording of the signal S 2 takes place . During each track scanned by K 1 or K 2 , either is only reproduced or only recorded. Simultaneous recording and playback no longer take place. As a result, the difficulties mentioned can no longer occur due to the different signal levels during recording and playback. For the head K 1 or K 2 causing the recording, the assigned erase head is switched on, so that the record that may be present on the tape is deleted beforehand. This solution has in addition to the elimination of the interference described by different signal levels, the advantage that only the two heads K 1 , K 2 and the erase heads L 1 , L 2 are necessary for the simultaneous playback and recording, while the additional heads K 3 , K 4 are omitted.
It can be seen that the signal reproduced with K 1 is only present in every other field and has intermediate dead times with the duration of one field.
Fig. 4 shows a circuit with which these dead times are filled out. In stage 23 , only the Si signal of the head K 1 is evaluated according to FIG. 3 and the input of the switch 24 is fed. The switch 24 thus receives from field to field alternately the signal sampled by tracks No. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, ... and no signal in the fields between. During the fields with an existing signal, the two changeover switches 24 , 25 are in the fully extended position. The signal then arrives directly via line 26 for playback on picture tube 5 . At the same time, the signal S 1 arrives in the memory M 2 and is read into the memory M 2 by a clock generator T.
During the fields without signal S 1 , the switches 24 , 25 are switched into the dashed position by a switching voltage 27 with half the vertical frequency V / 2 , ie 25 Hz. The input of the memory M 2 is now grounded and receives no signal. By the clock generator T, the respective signal stored in the previous field signal S 1 'is read out and supplied via the switch 25 for playback of the picture tube 5 during these fields. The memory M 2 is in principle a delay element that delays the signal S 1 by the duration of a field, so that it is repeated identically in the dead times and is available for playback. There are then two successive fields visually identical in terms of the image content. This is not annoying because the vertical resolution is generally greater than the horizontal resolution anyway. It may be expedient to artificially reintroduce the interlaced line by appropriately timing the signal and processing the synchronous pulse mixture accordingly.
The repetition of the signal of one field in the next field can also take place instead of with a circuit according to FIG. 4 by the head drum 2 itself, in the following way:
The head K 1 reads the tracks 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, ... during the odd fields and no signal during the even fields. The head K 1 is now assigned to the head drum 3 another head. This is so ju stiert that he reads the fields read by K 1 in the respective previously read helical tracks again during the even fields. Track No. 1 is then z. B. scanned in one field by K 1 and scanned again in the next field by the additional head. The head drum 2 is thus used itself for the signal repetition. The circuit of FIG. 4 for the Ausfül development of the dead times in the signal S 1 is then no longer erforder Lich. The crosstalk for the color carrier between adjacent tracks is eliminated in that the phase of the color carrier is switched from line to line by 90 ° in every second field, while this switching does not take place in the fields lying between. This solution is described in DE-PS 26 46 806. When recording a new signal according to FIG. 1, it is advantageous to record the new signal to be recorded in the helical tracks that do not have the line-frequency phase change. Then it is also possible to play two signals nested in each other in the helical tracks according to FIG. 3 at the same time and the video recorder would then have two playback paths, and z. B. give two recorded films at the same time.
