The invention relates to an air conditioning device for items of clothing, in particular for a protective suit, consisting of pump chambers that are in the same position on the air inlet and air outlet side Direction of flow responsive check valves, e.g. B. lip valves are completed in the furthermore, a channel for supplying fresh air is used alternately and to the inlet valve of the pump chambers is connected for ventilation of the interior of the room and the adjacent duct for Used air is discharged and, accordingly, at the outlet valve of one of the pump chambers is connected to vent the interior of the room.
In the case of a garment sealed against the air, in particular, it is important that the adjacent channels alternately for the supply of fresh air and for the discharge of Used air can be used to equalize the effect of the air conditioning achieve. At rest, a person's sweating is relatively small, and it is generally sufficient to sweat through them taking advantage of breathing excursions fresh air pumped into clothing. Contrast this with movements the pump chambers above the joints are also active and increase the amount of fresh air considerable. The correct arrangement according to the invention of the supply and exhaust air ducts alternately ensures even rinsing of the body surface and thus even drying of the Skin through fresh air. The lines connected to the inlet valves can be known per se Way to be connected to filters, expediently to a central filter device.
The invention relates to an air-conditioning device for an item of clothing made of air-impermeable Fabric, the pump chambers arranged in a manner known per se at the points of the garment are where a pumping action is caused by the movements of the body or body parts occurs.
This results in alternating ventilation of the individual channels. Because of the evenness By changing the supply and exhaust air ducts, an equally effective insulation of the item of clothing is achieved. This prevents one side of the garment from staying cold while the other Side is additionally heated by removing the used and heated air.
Die Pumpenkammern haben eine entsprechende Vorspannung, d. h., sie öffnen sich nach jeder Kompression, automatisch und sprechen auf den gering-Klimatisiereinrichtung für KleidungsstückeThe pump chambers have a corresponding preload, i. i.e., they open after each compression, automatically and speak on the low-air conditioning device for garments

sten Gegendruck wirkungsvoll an. You can choose the type of your facility without any difficulty with the Clothing or protective suit. To ensure that the pressure is adequate remains, are expediently water-filled and an air bubble containing transparent at the pump chambers Bag arranged as a display device for the operation of the pump chambers. the The size of the air bubble must be kept small, e.g. B. about 1 to 2 cm. It can be with the help of this pouch Pressure are provided in advance, which allows the full relaxation of the exhalation Pumping and inhaling a maximum load on this. This is done on the wider and The air bubble becomes more rounded. Care must be taken to ensure that the bag with the air bubble is so are designed that they show a certain limitation of the air bubble at a certain pressure.
In dieser zeigtAn exemplary embodiment of the invention is described below with reference to the drawing. In this shows

Bei zusätzlichemAs the figures show, the person 2 has the pump devices 3 within the Protective clothing 1 in places that are constantly kept in motion by the person 2, in particular over the chest 4, over the stomach 5 and also over the back 6. If ventilation is required by movement of the person, additional pump devices 3 can also be provided the elbows 7 and 8 above the knees. In addition, the shoes can also be in the Soles 9 are provided with pump devices 3 in a manner known per se. The air supply ducts can be collected in bundles and carried to any suitable point on the protective suit, for example to the shoulder area, as in FIG. 1 is indicated at 10 and 11. Also the intake ducts 12 and 13 of the pump device 3 arranged above the belly 5 can be directed towards the shoulder area be guided. When using a filter 14, the intake ducts advantageously lead to a central point that can be arranged on the back below the pump devices 3. From the filter 14 channels 15 lead, for example, to the pump devices 3 on the belly 5, on the Elbows 7, knees 8 and the like, with the outflow lines denoted by 16. Also the pumping devices in other places, e.g. B. on the chest, can be connected to the filter 14.
The airtight protective suits can also include the head. One becomes this the exhaust lines of the pump devices 3 individually or bundled in sufficient numbers lead so that the head can be kept dry and ventilated indefinitely. The filter 14 provides optimal protection against the ingress of undesired foreign matter with the drying air. The constant overpressure in the protective suit 1 prevents the ingress of outside air and foreign matter through leaks that cannot be controlled. Requirement for proper functioning of pumps, especially those that are above chest 4 and belly 5, is that they are at maximum inhalation and maximum exhalation are still effective. The elasticity of the Pump chambers must therefore be designed in such a way that they are larger than the one that occurs during maximum inhalation and exhalation is required. This means that the chambers are pressed against each other during maximum inhalation must be what z. B. with HiMe a belt or a vest that they can almost happen are closed. During maximum exhalation, the pump chambers must not be completely relaxed. so that the function of the pump chambers is still guaranteed. Would be such a If the arrangement cannot be guaranteed, the effectiveness of the pumps is lower than with the correct one Could be able to. If, for example, the vest, which must not give way, is too loose around the Pump devices 3 are seated, which rest on the chest 4, then when inhaled the majority the pump chambers are not compressed enough, resulting in insufficient performance of the pumps is. If the vest was too tight, it would stretch when you inhale so that the optimal performance of the pumps is not guaranteed here either.
gezeigt, wobei die Luftblase 18 plattgedrückt wirdTo check the correct performance of the pumps is used in FIG. 3 to 5 shown display device. This consists of small bags 17 which are filled with a liquid and made of transparent material, for. B. plastic film exist. The bags are only so far with z. B. filled with water that an air bubble 18 is present. This air bubble serves as a display device for the wearer of the air-conditioned protective clothing to check whether he or she has laced his vest or the like so that the pump chambers underneath have their optimal performance within the range of his breathing.
According to FIG. 3, the bag 17 is without pressure in the direction of the arrows shown, so that the air bubble 18 appears essentially round. In FIG. 4, the bag 17 is shown standing under pressure, the air bubble 18 being pressed flat
The bag 17 can be provided with two marks 19, which indicate the boundary points between which the Air bubble 18 must move when the pressure through the vest, a belt or the like. For inhalation or exhalation correct is. The liquid in the pouch 17 may be colored to facilitate viewing. F i g. FIG. 5 shows the arrangement of the bags 17 as a display device between one that gives the pressure Vest 20 and the pump devices 3
so groß, daß selbst locker anliegende Pumpensysteme noch völlig ausgequetscht werden.ao chest 4 and belly 5 of the wearer 2. Where the bags 17 are located, a window 21 with a covering made of transparent material can be arranged in the vest.
The entire suit of protective clothing 1 advantageously lies over this system. This applies in particular to the pump units via the abdomen 5 and back 6. The pump devices 3 intended for elbow and knee joints can sit in the suit themselves; because there the movements that occur are so great that even loosely fitting pump systems are still completely squeezed out.
In the case of the liquid bags as a control device, the shape of the air bubble 18 is used as a function of the pressing as an indicator. When the bag 17 is pressurized, the deforms Air bubble 18, and a conclusion about the pressure can be drawn from the size of the deformation. This A sensitive manometer is intended to replace a sensitive manometer, which is in itself crude means of display. The one with the bag However, the rough control that can be achieved is completely sufficient for the intended purpose.
