Abstract
Method for continuous regeneration of sorbents in water purification comprises feeding the water upwards through a tank (22) filled with sorbent (3). Some sorbent is fed pneumatically from the base of the tank into a regeneration unit (9) and recirculated pneumatically to the reactor after regeneration.
