Nachteilig bei dem bekannten Septumknopf ist es, daß er sehr schwierig einzufädeln ist und dementsprechend nur sehr selten gewechselt werden kann. Auch bei einer anderen Ausführung, welche zweiteilig ist, werden die beiden Teile fest miteinander verbunden und sind nicht zum Lösen und Wiederverwenden geeignet.A septum button is used to occlude perforations in the nasal septum. Jede Hälfte wird in ein Nasenloch eingeführt und im Bereich der Perforation miteinander verbunden.
