Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein mobiles Ortungsgerät, umfassend
The invention relates to a mobile locating device, comprising
- - Positionsermittlungsmittel zur Ermittlung einer Positi onsinformation über den Aufenthaltsort eines Trägers des Ortungsgeräts und- Position determination means for determining a positi Information on the whereabouts of a carrier of the Locator and
A radio module for transmitting the position information tion representing radio signal to a mobile radio Fixed system.
Such a locating device can be used, for example, for positi ons monitoring of children, old people, animals or moving objects are used, whereby it persists fend or at regular intervals or even upon external request the current (e.g. determined using the GPS satellite navigation system) Location of the object or subject concerned Monitoring agency, such as parents or a hospital or nursing home, via radio. Can be used NEN such location devices as emergency call devices, which a Have emergency button, when pressed an emergency call with the current location of the person wearing the device an emergency call is sent. That way, at for example in the event of an accident as part of leisure activities or quickly and easily in the event of a robbery own emergency situation is signaled. If the tracking device also supports voice communication, can be pressed by pressing Emergency call button also automatically a voice connection with the emergency call are made so that these from Ver unfortunate who is informed about details of what is happening that can.
To transmit the position information on the monitoring chungs or emergency call, it is known that. Services of a Mobile phone network, such as the GSM network to use. Modern mobile phone networks are characterized by a large area coverage, so that a working with it Locator offers a wide range of uses. Nevertheless, there is not always a secure connection to the Telephone network guaranteed. Especially in buildings often no connection or only a very bad connection. If you imagine the situation of a robbery in a Underground parking or an accident in an apartment before, so can it may then be impossible to send an emergency call is because the telephone network is not available there.
The invention is therefore based on the object, the poss application of a locating device at the beginning given type to expand.
To achieve this object, the invention provides that the radio module is designed as a hybrid radio module, which is used to send radio signals of at least two different, each from a fixed cell phone system ak Accepted transmission standards is designed, and that the Radio module controlled by an electronic control unit which is optionally at least in a first control mo dus, in which you use the radio module to send radio controls signals of a first transmission standard, or is operable in a second control mode in which it the radio module for sending radio signals from a second Controls transmission standards.
In the solution according to the invention, it enables the hybrid Design of the radio module, the locating device in connection with different fixed cell phone systems operate. Different here means fixed systems with a different radio interface to the locating device can be used, the difference the radio interfaces to the transmission standard, esp special the transmission protocol used, which over the Interfaces transmitted signals. Due to the Compatibility with various fixed cellphone systems there is a wider range of uses of the fiction appropriate tracking device. This compatibility allows that Locator, for example, in a situation emergency or / and position signals for a first mobile radio festival system to transfer, but in a different situation to transmit such signals to another fixed system, if the first fixed system is no longer available is. The control unit can select depending on the situation len, according to which transmission standard the radio module Signa le should send and with which fixed system accordingly communicated accordingly.
According to a possible development of the invention, the Control unit optionally in a third control mode be operable by using the radio module for simultaneous transmission of radio signals from at least two transmissions controls standards. By the locator at the same time on the infrastructure of at least two different festivals systems, reliability can be increased by anyone the so that the signals sent by the locator did actually reach the recipient or recipients and trigger the desired action.
It is basically possible for the user of the geolocation to give an opportunity to influence, according to which Transmission standard the radio module its radio signals should send out. It can therefore be used to discontinue the tax mode of the control unit is a manually operable mode actuator be provided on the locator.
It goes without saying that the control unit also does this can be formed automatically one of the control modes select. The control unit is expediently used the control mode depending on the availability at least choose one of the fixed systems. The availability of a festival systems, for example, the locator can be based on Detect control or signaling signals, whereby they whose signal strength can also take into account.
If several fixed systems are available, the tax can then the control mode according to a pre-memory Select the rule set. This rule set can, for example define a preferred hierarchy of control modes, such as in such a way that the locator always with one certain preferred fixed system should communicate when the fixed system is available (i.e. when there is a radio link to this fixed system is possible), even if at the same time at least one other fixed system is available. The Rule set can be selected when deciding on the control mode also take other parameters into account, such as the specific application of the locator or Anga ben about the user of the locator. Such contextual knowledge sen can be stored in advance in the control unit the. Nevertheless, it is also conceivable that the standard rate is adaptive, i.e. this context knowledge at least in part learned by myself.
The position determining means are preferably designed for this forms, to determine the position information verale of a satellite-based positioning radio system work. Comes as a satellite-based tracking radio system for example the GPS system (Global Positioning System) or the GNSS-1 or GNSS-2 system (Global Navigation Sa tellite system) in question.
As an alternative to a satellite-based positioning radio system can also be an earth-based mobile comm communication network can be used for location. Through run Time measurements can be done with the help of a GSM or UMTS network determines the current position of the locator be communicated.
It is even conceivable that the position determining means are designed as hybrid position determination means, which are designed to determine the position in formation on location signals of at least two different ones to address location radio systems. That way also in relation to the location function of the invention Locator greater flexibility can be achieved in if, as the locator is not based on availability and Functionality of a single location radio system be is limited, but instead to gain the position can base formation on different location radio systems.
In particular, the position determining means can do so be trained to use that locating radio system Obtaining the position information, the moment tan is available or that of several available Or radio systems is best available. Alternatively or in addition, it is conceivable that the position determining means the location signals of two or more Or evaluate radio communication systems - if available. To this Way, a more reliable and accurate detection of the who is currently at the location of the locator the. It is understood that similar to that for the radio module also a rule set for the position determination means in can be implemented, the selection conditions or / and Preferred hierarchies for the different location radio systems sets.
It is possible that the locator is only part of the Transmission standards for sending out a position formation-containing radio signal is formed.
One of the transmission standards is preferably one in one cellular cellular telephone network, for example in egg nem GSM or UMTS network, transmission standard used. The radio module can be designed to control the positi onsinformation by means of a short message service of the Telephone network (e.g. using the SMS service according to GSM Standard) to a predetermined network subscriber.
Furthermore, one of the transmission standards can be integrated into one wireless telecommunications network used be standard, for example the DECT standard. just so one of the transmission standards can be in a radio Call network (paging network) used transmission standard his. Alternatively or additionally, one of the transfers standards for a proprietary radio link or a transmission standard used by a proprietary radio network be, for example, a transmission standard of a local Local radio network in the ISM frequency range.
In a preferred embodiment, the location ge advises a finger-operated emergency call element on the Actuating the control unit sending an emergency case report representing emergency radio signal. Should the emergency notification by the mobile phone fixed system a predetermined recipient, for example via a public public telephone network, can be forwarded, so the locator in the emergency radio signal address information Provide via this recipient. It is also conceivable that the locator releases the emergency radio signal of recipient address information. In this case can the locator for radio communication with a Mo bilfunk fixed system be formed, which pre-storage te address information about a predetermined recipient contains the emergency message and upon receipt of the emergency Radio signal the emergency message to this predetermined Emp catcher forwards.
It is also conceivable that the locating device for radio communication cation is formed with a fixed cell phone system, wel ches an optical when receiving the emergency radio signal or / and acoustic alarm there.
It may be that the locator does not work with all transmissions the self-determined position information can be transmitted by radio to a fixed system. In the case of one Emergency call from the receiving fixed system to one before certain recipient should be forwarded, it will however, usually this recipient should also be desired to inform where the emergency situation occurred is. If there is a voice connection between the locator and the intended recipient is possible, this could basically done orally. In many mobile communication systems is the possibility of such There was no speech connection. Therefore it can be beneficial be if the locator for radio communication with a Cellular fixed system is formed, which out is the emergency when receiving an emergency radio signal message together with a pre-stored in the fixed system to the location of the installation of the fixed system forward predetermined recipient. The installation location of the Fixed systems can be used for the emergency services receiving the call for help already be sufficient, especially if the Range of the radio connection between the fixed system and Or device is comparatively low.
But it can also be the locator for radio communication be formed with a fixed cellular system, which with a stationary location detection device for detection solution of the location of the locator is connected and is designed to receive an emergency radio signals the emergency message along with that by the location Detection device recorded location of the location forward device to a predetermined recipient. Such a stationary location detection device can be formed by a detector arrangement, for example on a door or portal of a building is brought and detects whether one out with the locator armored person is inside the building. Conceivable it is also possible to use several fixed Receiver the location of the locator through Triangulati to determine.
Es stellen dar: The following is an exemplary embodiment according to the invention a portable locator based on the attached drawing nations explained in more detail. They represent:
Fig. 1 eine erste Anwendungssituation des Ortungsgeräts und Fig. 1 shows a first application situation of the locating device and
Fig. 2 eine zweite Anwendungssituation des Ortungsgeräts. Fig. 2 shows a second application situation of the locating device.
The locating device is designated by 10 in the figures. It has a radio module 12 used for sending and receiving radio signals, a position determination unit 14 and an electronic control unit 16 , as indicated schematically in the enlarged illustration of the locating device in FIG. 1. It also has two buttons 18 , 20 , one of which is used to send an emergency call and the other is used to establish a speech connection with a predetermined speech partner. A numerical keyboard like telephones is not provided.
The radio module 12 is a hybrid radio module which is used for communication with a cellular mobile radio telephone network 22 schematically indicated in FIG. 1, for example a GSM network, and for local radio communication with one in a building 24 , for example in an underground garage or in a Flat, built-in stationary radio receiver 26 (see Fig. 2) is formed. In addition, it is designed to be operated by a satellite-based locating radio system 28 , which is schematically indicated in FIG . B. the GPS system to receive location signals. From these location signals, the position determination unit 14 can determine the current position of the location device 10 .
In the application situation shown in FIG. 1, a person 30 equipped with the locating device 10 is in the availability area of the telephone network 22 , for example when hiking or skiing in a mountain area 32 . Available here means that a radio connection is possible between the locating device 10 and the next mobile radio base station of the telephone network 22 , that is to say there is access to the network 22 . The control unit 16 of the locating device is able to recognize the availability of the network 22 on the basis of signaling signals which are sent from the network 22 to the locating device 10 .
If the person 30 gets into an emergency, he can send an emergency call by pressing one of the keys 18 , 20 (in the following, the key 18 is assumed). Specifically, by pressing the button 18 , the control unit 16 causes the radio module 12 to send an emergency signal in the transmission standard of the telephone network 22 , for example in the GSM standard, which transmits from the telephone network 22 to a predetermined receiver specified in the emergency signal becomes. The address of this recipient, expediently a rescue control center, is permanently stored in the locating device 10 and is read automatically when the button 18 is pressed.
If the position determination unit 14 was able to determine the location of the person 30 , the control unit 16 also has the effect that, together with the emergency signal, this current location is also transmitted to the predetermined recipient. For this purpose, a short message service of the mobile radio network 22 which is used to transmit alphanumeric character strings is preferably used.
When the other button 20 is pressed on the locating device 10 , only a voice connection is established via the network 22 with a predetermined network subscriber. This can be the same subscriber as the subscriber pressed by pressing the key 18 , but it can also be a different subscriber. His address is again stored in the locating device 10 .
The situation shown in FIG. 2 is now considered. The person 30 is here with the locating device 10 in the availability range of the radio receiver 26 . The radio receiver 26 can directly communicate its availability to the control unit 16 by means of signaling signals. It is also conceivable that the locating device 10 receives a signal when entering and leaving the building 24 from a transmitter 34 attached in the area of an access door of the building 24 , which signals the control unit 16 that the locating device 10 is located in the building 24 and thus in availability area of the radio receiver 26 is located or that it is outside the building 24 and thus outside the range of the radio receiver 26 . If the person 30 then presses the emergency call button 18 of the locating device 10 within the building 24 , the control unit 16 knows that the radio receiver 26 is within reception range and causes the transmission of an emergency call signal according to a for the radio link between the locating device 10 and the radio receiver 26 specified local radio protocol.
The radio receiver 26 can activate an optical and / or acoustic alarm generator (not shown in more detail) in response to the reception of this emergency signal in one embodiment. This can be useful not only for use in residential buildings, but also for other vulnerable areas where GSM reception is not regularly to be expected, such as a women's parking area in an underground car park. According to another embodiment variant, it can be connected to a dialing device (likewise not shown in more detail) which is connected as a subscriber terminal to a telephone network (preferably a fixed network) and contains a pre-stored number of a network subscriber to be notified in an emergency. When the emergency call signal is received, the radio receiver 26 then causes the dialing device to dial this number and to transmit the emergency call to the subscriber concerned. In this case, the radio receiver 26 essentially serves only as a relay station for forwarding the emergency call.
The control unit 16 can be designed in such a way that it gives priority to the radio receiver 26 . This means that when you press the button 18 and the availability of the radio receiver 26 always causes the transmission of radio signals according to the local radio protocol, regardless of whether the cellular telephone network 22 may also be available. Alternatively, an inverted hierarchy could be defined in the control unit 16 , according to which the radio module 12 always transmits radio signals according to the transmission standard of the network 22 , as long as the network 22 is available. It is also conceivable to configure the control unit 16 in such a way that the radio module simultaneously sends radio signals of both transmission standards in some situations.
It is not fundamentally excluded that location signals of the location radio system 28 can also be received within the building 24 , from which the position determination unit 14 can determine the current absolute geographical position of the location device. With a suitable design of the radio interface between the locating device 10 and the radio receiver 26 , the transmission of the position determined by the position determination unit 14 as part of the emergency signal to the radio receiver 26 and from there to a predetermined receiver could then be possible. However, it must be expected that there is no connection to the locating radio system 28 within closed buildings. In this case, a location information, for example about the building in question, into which the radio receiver 26 is installed, could be pre-stored in the radio receiver 26 or the dialing apparatus connected to it, which information is transmitted together with the emergency call to the predetermined receiver. Since the range of the local radio connection between the locating device 10 and the radio receiver 26 is comparatively short, such an approximate location can already be sufficient for the recipient of the emergency call.
It is understood that the radio receiver is not stationary must be arranged, but also on a mobile counter stand may be appropriate. For example, a sol cher radio receiver installed in a motor vehicle and when receiving an emergency call, either an in-vehicle one Activate the alarm system or call via an antenna system forward the vehicle.
