Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及到一种用来将软管中的弯头保持在所需形状的夹子,更具体地但并非唯一地涉及到一种应用于汽车发动机软管的软管弯曲夹。
背景技术
汽车发动机通常有多个与其相连的橡胶软管,用来将液体输出或输入该发动机和附属元件。例如,在水冷发动机中,橡胶软管用于使液体冷却剂在位于散热器和发动机之间的冷却系统内循环。还有用于与汽车空调系统相连的软管。考虑到发动机箱内所提供的有限空间,必须将软管安放和配置在各种发动机元件之间的空间内。为达到这个目的,散热器软管常常是预先成形为所需的形状以使其能够安装在发动机箱限定的空间内,并与对应的输入口和输出口相连接。然而,由于这样的软管需要经过专门的设计与处理来获得并保持所需的形状,所以这样的替换件的总成本增加了。因为这样的元件实际上是为了某一特定的发动机而定制的,所以这种软管的市场受到了限制。
另一方面,如果这样的软管在售出时是直的,那么当用户将其弯成所需的形状时,软管就有在弯曲点伸开或绕曲的风险,从而妨碍了该点处流体的自由流动。
发明内容
本发明旨在提供了一种软管弯曲夹,该夹子能够保持具有所需弯曲形状的软管,这就防止了软管在弯曲成所需形状时伸开和绕曲。

根据本发明,提供了一种保持弯成所需形状的软管的软管弯曲夹,该夹子包括:
多个基本上呈环形的约束装置,形成细长的大致为圆柱状的结构,该结构适于滑过待弯曲的一截软管的外表面;和
有延展性的细长的脊,连接所述的约束装置并在所述的圆柱状结构上纵向地延伸,其中,所述脊能弯曲成该截软管所需的形状并能在松开时保持该形状,在应用中,当脊随包含在所述圆柱状结构中的该截软管一起弯曲时,每一个所述的约束装置环抱着软管,并且当软管被强制为所需形状时基本上可防止软管伸开或绕曲。
在一个实施例中,所述的多个基本呈环形的约束装置由加工成线圈的金属丝形成。优选地,所述的线圈在它的每一端形成有多个靠近的线圈匝,而形成所述圆柱状结构的对应端部。优选地,每个所述圆柱状结构的端部形成有适于容纳连接在那里的所述脊的对应端的隆起。通常,所述脊由矩形的金属带形成,该金属带的每一端放在所述端部的隆起下,并弯回到该隆起上以便与线圈的每一端相连并形成一个整体单元。
在另一个实施例中,所述的多个基本上呈环形的约束装置由多个分开的环形肋形成,肋沿所述脊以一定的间距定位以形成所述的大致圆柱状的结构。优选地,每一个所述的环形肋以一定的间距固定在所述的脊上。另一个方法是,每一个所述的环形肋与所述的脊整体形成。

具体实施方式
图1至图7所示的是用以保持弯成所需形状的软管的软管弯曲夹10的第一实施例。该夹子10包括多个基本上呈环形的约束装置12,形成细长的大体上为圆柱状的结构14(见图5),适于滑过待弯曲的软管部分(图中没有示出)的外侧面。在第一实施例中,该多个基本上呈环形的约束装置12由弯成线圈的金属线匝所形成,在外观上像弹簧。线圈的内径比软管的外径稍大一点,并有大约1毫米的公差以允许线圈在拉直的情况下可以顺利地滑过软管。
该软管弯曲夹还包括有延展性的细长的脊16,用来和线圈14相连并沿线圈的纵向延伸。在这个实施例中,该脊由矩形的有延展性的金属带16(见图7)形成,该金属带能够弯曲成软管部分所需的形状并在松开时保持该形状。该线圈14在两端有多个靠近的线圈匝,分别形成了该圆柱状结构的对应端部18。优选地,每一个端部18形成有一个在图6中可以清楚地看到的隆起20,分别用来接纳连接在那里的脊16的对应端部。该矩形带16的各端分别放置在端部18的隆起20下并如图1中所清楚看到的那样弯回到该隆起的上面,这样就可以将带与线圈14的两端连接在一起从而形成一个整体单元。因为该隆起20高出线圈14的外径,脊的金属带16能够像图1所示的那样穿过线圈的外侧。
在应用中,当脊16随该线圈14的圆柱形结构所包围的一截软管一起弯曲时,线圈匝12的每一匝环抱住该软管并基本上防止或约束软管在弯曲成所需形状时伸开或绕曲。图3所示的是基本弯曲成直角形状的软管弯曲夹。如图3中所见的,线圈14的线圈匝12的每一匝基本上保持其内径不发生变化并因而起约束包含在其中的软管管壁的作用,使其在弯头不发生膨胀、伸开或绕曲。一旦其上连有夹子的软管弯曲成所需的形状,该脊16在松开时起保持形状的作用。优选的是,该脊14的金属有足够的可弯曲性能够允许用手进行弯曲,同时有足够的延展性能够在松开时防止该脊变回到初始形状或防止碎裂。脊16所用的一种适宜的金属材料是不锈钢(304级)。如图1到图3所示的装配好的单元能够滑过软管,并且通过绕线圈14的手指以及正对着脊16的拇指施加压力,该单元能够随包含在其中的软管一起弯曲成所需的角度。
图8至图11所示的是根据本发明的软管弯曲夹22的第二实施例。在该实施例中,多个基本上呈环形的约束装置由多个分开的环形的肋24所形成,肋位于沿脊26的分隔开的间距上并形成一个大体上为圆柱状的结构,如图8至图10所示。在该实施例中,该脊26与第一实施例中的脊16类似,并由矩形延展性金属带形成。每一个环形肋24由通过诸如焊接沿脊的长以一定的间隔固定在脊26上的金属环而形成。在所示的实施例中,在脊26的两端设置了具有增大了的宽度的两个端环30用以形成夹子22的端部。像前一实施例那样,环形肋24的内径和圆柱状结构28的内径比软管的外径稍大。像前一实施例那样,环形肋24的目的是环抱住软管并基本上防止当软管弯曲成所需的形状是伸开或绕曲。显然,可以根据适用于不同外径的软管的内径范围提供多种夹子。
每一个环形肋24都可以与软管弯曲夹22的脊26一起形成。例如,软管夹子22可以通过沿管的长度以一定的间隔切割出一系列平行的切口来形成,并能取得相同的效果。任何合适的材料都可以用来制造该软管夹子22。例如,该夹子可以用合适的塑料材料来制造,可选地,该材料有一个嵌入或固定在脊上的金属杆用以提供需要的强度和延展性。
图12至图15所示的是根据本发明的第三实施例的软管弯曲夹32。在该实施例中,该软管夹子32由从金属平板上冲压下来的单独的一片金属片34形成。在图12中可以清楚地看出,该金属板片34被切割出脊36,该脊有多个以一定间距安置的并沿脊26的两侧横向延伸的平行的肋38。金属片34是从延展性和弹性都合适的金属平板上冲压下来的。接下来,该金属片34沿与其纵轴平行的方向卷成圆柱状,这在图14和图15中可以清楚的看到。现在,肋38中的每一个都弯曲成环形以形成一个与前一实施例类似的大致的圆柱状结构40。
在该实施例中,肋38和圆柱状结构40的内径比软管的外径稍大。肋38的目的是环抱软管并基本上防止当弯曲成所需形状时软管伸开或绕曲。该实施例的一个优点是孔式软管弯曲夹32能够由单独的一片金属来形成,这样为生产这一物件只需要简单的切割和形成步骤。另一个可能的缺点是该脊38可能没有足够的弹性来防止软管延伸或绕曲,尤其是对于高负载的厚壁软管。
通过上述对该软管弯曲夹的优选实施例的描述,它所提供的许多优点得以明了,包括:
(a)它使低成本的标准待售直软管无须特殊的加工或其他的形状处理就可以有多种应用;
(b)它使用简便并能手工地弯成所需的形状,无须特殊工具和训练;
(c)它设计简单,制造成本低;并且
(d)它重量轻并有小的外形轮廓,所以不会与其他元件发生干涉或占用诸如汽车发动机箱里那样的宝贵的有限的空间。
对于本领域的技术人员,在不背离本发明的基本发明思想的前提下,本发明除了所述的以外,还可以有无数的变化和改进。例如,实体单元可以被柔软灵活的外套所覆盖以增加其外观的美感和/或增加其电绝缘性。所有这样的改进和变化都被认为是在本发明的范围之内,其本质由前面的描述和后附的权利要求所决定。

Claims (4)

1.一种保持弯成所需形状的软管的软管弯曲夹,该夹子包括:
多个基本上呈环形的约束装置,形成细长的大致为圆柱状的结构,该结构适于滑过待弯曲的一截软管的外表面;和
有延展性的细长的脊,连接所述的约束装置并在所述的圆柱状结构上纵向地延伸,其中,所述脊能弯曲成该截软管所需的形状并能在松开时保持该形状,在应用中,当脊随包含在所述圆柱状结构中的该截软管一起弯曲时,每一个所述的约束装置环抱着软管,并且当软管被强制为所需形状时基本上可防止软管伸开或绕曲;其中所述的多个基本呈环形的约束装置由加工成线圈的金属丝形成,以形成所述的大致圆柱状的结构。
2.如权利要求1所述的软管弯曲夹,其特征在于,所述的线圈在它的每一端形成有多个靠近的线圈匝,而形成所述圆柱状结构的对应端部。
3.如权利要求2所述的软管弯曲夹,其特征在于,每个所述圆柱状结构的端部形成有适于容纳连接在那里的所述脊的对应端的隆起。
4.如权利要求3所述的软管弯曲夹,其特征在于,所述脊由矩形的金属带形成,该金属带的每一端放在所述端部的隆起下,并弯回到该隆起上以便与线圈的每一端相连并形成一个整体单元。
