本发明一般地涉及模注注嘴,特别涉及用于热浇口模注的注嘴,该注嘴具有高的强度并且不要求加热元件。
各种装在模子中的注嘴具有延伸于其中的中心熔体孔,这是用来将熔体输送到浇口的。这些注嘴通常是被加热的,过去曾经是钢注嘴采用围着它们安装的加热件。一种已知的加热注嘴示于申请人的美国专利4355460号(1982年6月26日颁布)。在这申请案中,电加热元件是绕在内芯部和外壳之间的间隔中,然后间隙以高传导铜铍合金充填而使之围着加热元件并形成一体的加热注嘴。虽然这些制品对于大多数应用是很好的,但是它们相对是制造昂贵,并且,加热元件被遭受到故障不正常。此外,在一些应用中,它们不具有足够的强度来承受要求的非常高的注射压力的重复冲击。
近来,如从申请人的美国专利5206040(1993年4月27日颁布)中可见到的,示出的注嘴或密封件没有电加热元件,然而,在这申请案中,注嘴具有的缺点是延伸在其中心孔中的长形轴或鱼雷形件被要求提供足够的热传导性能。
因此,本发明的目的至少是部分地克服现有技术的缺点,这是借助于提供具有非常高的压力强度的注嘴而没有要求加热元件来达到的。
因此,就一个方面而言,本发明提供一种一体的模注注嘴,该注嘴带有前端和后端,具有形成在内芯部和中心地围绕的外壳部之间的中间部,内芯部具有中心地延伸于其上的熔体孔,内芯部和外壳部至少一个以高强度材料形成,中间部以高传导的材料形成,其改进之处在于内芯部和外壳部的至少一个具有多个间隔的翼,该翼径向地延伸穿过内芯部和外壳部之间的中间部。

首先参考图1,该图示出了多模腔模注系统或装置的局部,其中根据本发明的若干注嘴10装在模子12中以便用来将压力熔体穿过熔体通道14输送到相应的导向模腔18的浇口16。在详示的构形中,每个注嘴10装在冷却的嵌入件20中,而嵌入件20又装在模子12中的大体为圆筒形的开口22内。模腔18具有凸部24,该凸部24部分由冷却的嵌入件20形成,并且是用来初成形模注PET(聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯),借助于吹胀伸展模注,由该初成形件制成饮料瓶。模腔18还由芯嵌件26形成,该芯嵌件26是被冷却水冷却的,该冷却水流经中心起泡器管28。冷却的嵌入件20还用泵送冷却水冷却,该冷却水从通道30穿过环形带肋的冷却腔32而泵送。
根据构形,虽然模子12通常具有较多的板,但在此情况下,具有用螺钉38将其固定在一起的歧管定位板34和后板36被示出以使图示简易。模子12还用泵送冷却水冷却,该冷却水流经歧管保持板34和后板36中的通道40。借助于钢的熔体歧管42,注嘴10被连接,歧管42抵靠注嘴10的后端。熔体分配歧管42具有一体的电加热元件48,并且借助于中心定位环50和绝缘弹性垫片件52而被装在歧管固定板34和后板36之间。这样就提供了在熔体分配歧管42和围着的冷却的歧管固定板34以及后板36之间的绝缘空气间隔。熔体通道14接受穿过歧管42的柱形进口部58中的中心进口56的熔体,并在歧管中分枝送出而穿过每个注嘴10内的中心熔体孔60。然后熔体流经冷却的嵌入件20中的对中的浇口16进入每个模腔18。
再参考图2,每个注嘴10从平的环形后端44到较小的环形前端62向内渐缩,靠近后端44的向前延伸的凸缘部64装在冷却的嵌入件20的圆筒形座66中,并且前端62具有小的定位凸缘68,该凸缘68装在围着浇口18的冷却的嵌入件20中的圆筒形开口70中。这样就精确地将注嘴10定位在冷却的嵌入件20中,并且提供延伸于它们之间的绝缘空气间隔72。如图2中清楚可见的,一体的注嘴10具有形成在内芯部76和外壳部78之间的中间部74。内芯部76具有熔体孔60和外表面80,该熔体孔60中心地于此延伸,该外表面80朝向注嘴10的前端向内渐缩。在此实施例中,外壳部78具有许多间隔的翼82,该翼82径向地向内而与内芯部76接触。翼82具有内端84,该内端84也朝向前端62而向内地渐缩以使之与内芯部76的外表面80的形状相匹配。在此实施例中,内芯部76和外壳部78两者是用H13热工具钢制成。然而,在其它实施例中,它们的一个或者两者用其它合适的材料制成,该材料在升高的温度时具有高的拉伸强度并具有足够的抗磨抗腐融性能。另一方面,中间部74用铜或其它合适的材料形成,该材料具有高的热传导性。中间部74由许多铜的扇形部86组成,借助于以下描述的方法,该扇形部一体地形成在径向翼82之间。高传导的中间部74是与加热的歧管42接触的,并将热从歧管向前传输以使之提供足够的热于浇口16区域并保证在注射循环过程中围着中心熔体孔60相对均匀的温度。于是,带有径向延伸翼82的两种类型材料的结合使得注嘴10不要求加热元件并仍具有足够强度以承受连续摸注循环的重复压力。
在使用时,如上述的系统被组装之后,电能施加到加热元件48以加热歧管42和注嘴10到预定的运行温度。然后,压力熔体从模注机(没示出)根据预定的循环被引导到歧管42的熔体通道14的中心进口56中,从该处熔体流经每个注嘴10的熔体孔60而充填模腔18。模腔18被充满之后,模注压力保持片刻以使之致密并且然后就释放。在短的冷却期之后,模子打开并逐出产品,逐出产品之后,关闭模子,再施加注射压力以充填模腔。根据模腔的尺寸和形状,以及被模注材料的型号而定的频率连续地重复这种循环。
现在参考图3到6,其中描述了制造一体的注嘴10的方法,首先,内芯88和外壳90做成如图3所示的形状,而内芯88是机加工的,外壳90是铸造的,并具有上述的径向翼82以及在前端94处的凹陷92。如图3所指示的,内芯88嵌装到外壳90内,以翼82的内端84抵靠内芯88的外表面80。内芯88在其前端98处具有圆柱部96,其是穿过窄颈部100而装入到外壳90中。内芯88的圆柱部96延伸进入外壳90中的凹陷92内,以使之在它们之间形成环形凹缝102。
如图5所示,组装件104然后被以凹陷92面向上而定位,并且以合适的钎焊粉,诸如镍合金,倾注到凹缝102中。如果要求的话,可施加钎焊膏粒珠于翼80的内端84与内芯88的外表面80的接触处,以使之将内芯88和外壳90保持在一起,但是这是不需要的。然后组装件分批装入真空炉内,在炉内它们在控制的循环过程中被加热。当炉子108逐渐加热时,炉子抽成相对高的真空度以除去大致上所有的氧气。然后,以惰性气体诸如氩或氮部分地回充炉子108而使之将真空度降低,以使之避免溅射。炉子108被加热到大约1950°F,该温度高于镍合金钎焊材料106的熔点。这种熔化的钎焊粉106向下流并在内芯88的圆柱部96和外壳90的围着的窄颈部100之间钎焊以形成在它们之间的密封。这就产生与钢的扩散型钎焊,其具有的熔化温度甚至高于铜的熔化温度。然后密封的组装件104从炉108中移去并翻转到图6所示状态位置。然后,高传导材料,诸如铜的棒110插入到形成在外壳90的后端114处的开口112中。然后组装件104再放入到真空炉中并在相似的控制循环过程中再加热到大约2035°F,该温度大大高于铜传导材料(棒)110的熔点,以使之将其熔化。当铜熔化时,它向下流而充填外壳90的径向翼82之间的空间,以形成注嘴10的中间部76的扇形部86。在部分真空中的铸铜110提供了铜对内芯88和外壳90的钢的金相学的粘焊连接。于一体的结构被形成,它有效地传导热并具有高的冲击强度。
最后,在组装件104被从真空炉108中移出之后,它们被机加工以除去过多的材料,如图6中以虚线所示的,并形成中心孔60以提供如图2所示的完整的注嘴。
虽然模注注嘴的描述以就推荐实施例而被给出,该注嘴是带有穿过高传导性的中间部74延伸的径向翼82的,这是明显的,即各种改进是可能的,是没有超出发明范畴的,这正如那些本领域技术人员知晓的那样,并且是如下述权利要求所界定的,特别是,在选择的实施例中,翼82可作为内芯88的一部分,并向外延伸穿过中间部74而与围着的外壳90相接触。

Claims (4)

1、一种一体的模注注嘴,该注嘴带有前端,后端和中间部,该中间部形成在内芯部和中心地围绕的外壳部之间,内芯部具有中心延伸穿过其中的熔体孔,内芯部和外壳部至少一个以高强度材料形成,其特征是:
内芯部和外壳部的至少一个具有多个间隔翼,该翼径向地延伸穿过内芯部和外壳部之间的中间部。
2、如权利要求1所述模注注嘴,其特征是,内芯部具有外表面,该外表面朝向注嘴前端而向内地渐缩,从外壳部向内延伸的翼带有内端,该内端朝向注嘴前端而向内地渐缩,从而达到与内芯部的外表面匹配接触。
3、如权利要求2所述模注注嘴,其特征是,内芯部和外壳部是以钢形成的。
4、如权利要求3所述模注注嘴,其特征是,中间部以铜形成。
