Abstract
一种缝线含有一根由至少一根合成纤维长丝纱
构成的芯线,和一个由多股丝线形成的、包套着该芯
线的覆盖层,芯线及覆盖层有基本上相同的断裂伸长
率。长丝纱具有提高的弹性模量和提高的抗断裂强
度,从而使缝线提高了抗断裂强度并提高了刚性,使
缝线特别易于接受变形矫正并易于使用。
Description
本发明涉及用于外科的缝线。
丝缝线长期来已为人所熟知并用于各种外科手术中。常规缝线有各种类型,包括通过加捻,编辫及加芯编辫等方法制成的缝线。任何类型的公知缝线都是用丝制成的,因而具有不够硬挺的缺点,并且变形后很不容易恢复原状。例如,绕在轴上供应的缝线,从轴上放出后仍蜷曲成螺旋形,难以整直成矫正后的形状。绕在纸芯上的缝线也有同样的问题。
如缝线由于难以整直而在蜷曲状态下使用,就会发生缝线卷绕在医生臂或手上的问题,或因其过度的挠性而成螺旋状下垂,给医生带来很多麻烦。
为克服这问题,发明人等提出过一种含有一条由合成纤维长丝纱构成的芯线并有由丝线股制成的编带或其类覆盖着该芯线的缝线(日本实用新型申请41670/1987号)。所提出的缝线因有双股聚酯长丝所提供的适当的刚性加上覆盖着芯线的丝股的柔性而具有合适的柔韧性,从而使缝线易于矫正因卷绕造成的蜷曲而利于使用。此外,缝线因含有合成纤维长丝纱的芯线,比全部由丝股组成的缝线有较高的抗断裂强度。但是由于要求缝线有更高的强度,因此缝线还需要再作改进。
本发明的主要目的,是提供一种满足这种要求的外科用的缝线,具体是提供一种有合适柔韧性的、易于矫正诸如因在轴上卷绕而发生的蜷曲变形的、易于使用并有很高的抗断裂强度的缝线。
为达到上述目的,本发明提供一种外科用的缝线,其特点为具有一根由至少一根合成纤维长丝纱构成的芯线,和一个由多股丝线形成的、包套着该芯线的覆盖层,芯线和覆盖层有基本上相同的断裂伸长率。
芯线可由多根平行伸展的并且每根具有与覆盖层基本上相同的断裂伸长率的合成纤维长丝纱构成。
并且,芯线可由单捻或多股捻合的合成纤维长丝纱构成,并使之具有与覆盖层基本上相同的断裂伸长率。
此外,芯线可由多根合成纤维长丝纱编积形成,并使之具有与覆盖层基本上相同的断裂伸长率。
覆盖层可由多股丝线编织形成,并使之具有与芯线基本上相同的断裂伸长率。
合成纤维长丝纱可用多种材料、例如尼龙、聚酯、聚丙烯和聚丙烯腈中的任一种制成,在这些材料中,从提高缝线强度的观点看,用具有高的每单位旦尼尔抗断裂强度的聚酯特别理想。
本发明的缝线由于合成纤维长丝纱的芯线的刚性和丝股覆盖层的柔性而具有合适的柔韧性,因此易于矫正诸如由于在轴上卷绕而产生的蜷曲的变形而使缝线易于使用,因而有突出的优点。这缝线有另一优点,在外科手术过程中它容易变形成适用于缝合的形状。这些重要的优点似乎也旧因于合成纤维长丝纱芯线和丝股覆盖层之间的滑动比在丝股自身之间的顺利。
在已提出(日本实用新型申请第41670/1987号)并含有一个合成纤维长丝纱芯线的缝线中,在断裂时长丝纱一般比丝股有较大的伸长率,因此当缝线被拉紧伸长时,丝股先达到伸长率极限(断裂伸长率)而断裂。然后力只作用在长丝纱上使之断裂。因此,缝线的总抗断裂强度低于长丝纱和丝股的各自的抗断裂强度的总和。而本发明则不是这样,合成纤维长丝纱的芯线具有与丝股覆盖层基本上相同的断裂伸长率,结果是当缝线因拉紧而断裂时,芯线和覆盖层同时断裂。因此,两者各自的抗断裂强度之和基本上等于缝线的总抗断裂强度。在这情况下,合成纤维长丝由于通过热拉制中的调整使断裂伸长率减小而提高了弹性模量。因此,当将含有这种合成纤维长丝的缝线与含有一般合成纤维长丝的比较时,作用在缝线上将丝股拉断的张力,前一种缝线上的比后一种缝线上的大一个相当于弹性模量增大量的数值。因此,前一种缝线有相应高一些的抗断裂强度。此外,由于合成纤维长丝的抗断裂强度因断裂伸长率降低而增高了,所以缝线的抗断裂强度进一步增高。由于强度增高,所以可以在更广的范围内使用小直径的缝线,有利于避免损伤缝合处的人体组织。
降低断裂伸长率使合成纤维长丝的刚性有所增高,使之更适用,有利于矫正缝线的变形,使缝线用起来更方便。
当芯线由基本上相互平行伸展的合成纤维长丝纱制成时,长丝纱的断裂伸长率最好至少为18%而不大于24%,更理想则至少为19%而不大于21%,因为丝股的断裂伸长率一般为18%到19%,当用编辫或其他方法将其制成覆盖层时,显现的断裂伸长率在18至24%之间,通常在19%到21%之间。
当芯线用合成纤维长线纱通过单捻、多股捻合或编辫制出时,这样制成的芯线配制成具有与覆盖层相同的断裂伸长率,这伸长率是考虑到加捻或编辫的密度、强度等等而适当地选定的。
当制成的缝线具有一个等于或大于USP2-0规格的较大的尺寸时,尤其适合通过将长丝纱合股来制成芯线,首捻和终捻方向相反来抵销加捻造成的扭矩。对规格等于或小于USP3-0的较小的缝线,单捻可取得满意的效果。虽然芯线的捻数最好大一些以提高缝线的抗断裂强度,但当只准备用于紧密合股时可将长丝纱作每米约20至50捻的松捻。
为了保证便利矫正变形与提高抗断裂强度,最好使缝线的芯线占有较大的比例,从下面的实施例,尤其是通过表1给出的结果,便会很清楚。
从下文参照附图对实施例的描述对本发明便会更加清楚。

图4 为一曲线图,示出本发明缝线和常规缝线的负荷和伸长率之间的关系,包括断裂在内。
实施例1
丝股各用两根基本上是27但(含一般变化的平均细度值)熟丝线顺手捻按每米约300捻(s27平均值/2)捻在一起而制成。另一类型的丝股也是各用两根与上面所用的相同的熟丝线反手捻按每米约300捻(z27平均值/2)捻在一起而制成。用作芯线的合股纱的制造,是将八根聚酯长丝纱(帝人有限公司产品T300s,20但,内有6根单纤维,断裂伸长率为19%)按每米200捻顺手捻以制成一件捻成品,将三根这样的捻成品按反手捻按每米137捻捻在一起。这样制成的芯线的断裂伸长率约为20%。然后在编带机中交叉放入该两种类型的丝股,将总根数为16的丝股编织成密度为26线迹/cm的编带而在芯线上包覆上一个覆盖层,制成一种USP1-0规格的缝线。形成的覆盖层的断裂伸长率约为20%。
所取得的缝线的结构如图1所示,标号1表示的覆盖层通过编织丝股而形成,标号2为合股聚酯纱制成的芯线。
这样制成的缝线的抗断裂强度为2.92kgf(千克力),比常规的只用丝线制成的同规格缝线的抗断裂强度高11%。这种缝线具有合适的柔韧性(即合适的硬挺性),对变形、例如蜷曲、能高度适应,并且易于操作,毫无麻烦。
实施例2
图3所示的作芯线2′的单捻纱是用三根聚酯长丝纱(东丽(Toray)工业公司产品,S200,20但,由6根单纤维组成,断裂伸长率为19%)按每米200捻顺手捻捻在一起而形成。制成的芯线的断裂伸长率约为19%。然后按与实施例1相同的方法将12根丝股编成密度为29线迹/cm的编带而在芯线2′上包覆上一个覆盖层,制成一种USP4-0规格的缝线。覆盖层的断裂伸长率约为19%。
这样制成的并具有小尺寸的缝线也有跟实施例1中的缝线一样的优良性能。
其他实施例
各种规格的缝线用上述的同样的方法制成并跟常规缝线作对比试验。结果示于表1中,其中规格USP1-0与USP4-0的缝线由跟实施例1与2不同的材料来制成。因此这┓煜吒鲜龇煜咴谑匝榻峁仙杂胁煌?
参看表1,芯线比例是芯线对整个缝线的重量百分比。柔韧性按JISL-1096A测定。先有技术缝线A的制造方法与本发明相同,不同处在于用了一般的聚酯长丝纱(断裂伸长率为24%)作芯线。先有技术缝线B则用丝线作芯线。
将规格均为USP1的本发明的缝线与常规的具有一般合成纤维长丝纱芯线的缝线一起接受拉伸试验。图4是示出试验结果的曲线图。该曲线图揭示本发明缝线有高出很多的抗断裂强度(峰值)。该曲线图还示出在常规缝线的曲线上,表示断裂的下降线有一个中间峰值,表明芯线与覆盖层的断裂之间有一个时间滞后。本发明缝线的曲线的下降线几乎直线下降,表明芯线与覆盖层同时断裂。
在外科手术中实际应用时,上述实施例的缝线被评价为特别易于接受蜷曲和类似的变形的矫正,有合适的柔韧性(合适地硬挺),易于使用,可保证有效操作,即使尺寸减小使用时也不会断裂。
本发明的缝线并不限制在上面的实施例内,在后附的权利要求书中界定的范围内,可作各种修改。
Claims (10)
1、一种外科用的缝线,其特征在于该缝线含有一根由至少一根合成纤维长丝纱构成的芯线,和一个由多股丝线形成的、包套着该芯线的覆盖层,芯线及覆盖层有基本上相同的断裂伸长率。
2、按权利要求1所界定的一种缝线,其特征在于芯线由多根基本上相互平行伸展的并且各具有与覆盖层基本上相同的断裂伸长率的合成纤维长丝纱所构成。
3、按权利要求2所界定的一种缝线,其特征在于每一长丝纱的断裂伸长率至少为18%而不大于24%。
4、按权利要求1所界定的一种缝线,其特征在于芯线由多根捻合合成纤维长丝纱所形成,并使之具有与覆盖层基本上相同的断裂伸长率。
5、按权利要求4所界定的一种缝线,其特征在于该合成纤维长丝纱是单捻的。
6、按权利要求4所界定的一种缝线,其特征在于该合成纤维长丝纱是合股线。
7、按权利要求5所界定的一种缝线,其特征在于其规格为USP9-0到3-0。
8、按权利要求6所界定的一种缝线,其特征在于其规格为USP2-0到10。
9、按权利要求1所界定的一种缝线,其特征在于该芯线由多根编织合成纤维长丝纱所构成,并使之具有与覆盖层基本上相同的断裂伸长率。
10、按权利要求1所界定的一种缝线,其特征在于将多股丝线编织形成覆盖层,并使之具有与芯线基本上相同的断裂伸长率。
