Abstract

背景技术
本发明涉及建筑内(IB)通信系统,用于在建筑内传播无线信号,采用携带以太网信号的现有布线基础设施。
目前有几种系统和应用,其中,蜂窝或其它高频信号是通过诸如电话线或以太网线等铜线来传播的。由于铜线的带宽受限,在蜂窝通信的频率带宽内的高频信号不能无信号衰减地通过铜线来传播。

发明内容

在图8所示的远程单元分组组织器660中,来自集线器单元510穿过分离器/组合器512的同步以太网数据流712被馈送到分组开启器822。分组开启器822重新找回同步以太网数据流712的重复模式,并将它提供到数字PLL 818。此外,它重新找回以太网数据830、附加数据824和其他同步信号826。数字PLL 818从由分组开启器822提供的同步以太网数据流的数据率中恢复时钟信号,并过滤掉残留的波动。以太网分组重建器832将以太网高数据率分组830转变为异步较低数据率信号828,发送到以太网链路565。
在数字PLL 818产生的恢复的时钟信号814是反馈到分组开启器822,协助在同步以太网数据流712的模式上的同步过程。
异步以太网分组804是馈入以太网分组缓冲器802中。分组同步器810将这些分组从以太网分组缓冲器802中以合适的次数拉出,再将它们插入新的分组数据流或同步以太网数据流812中。附加数据806和其他同步信号808也被馈入新的分组同步器810中。分组同步器810安排以太网分组804、附加数据806和其他同步信号808进入同步以太网数据流812中。该数据流812具有由相等持续时间的分组的连续数据流组成的同步数据结构,具有比原始以太网分组804更高的比特率。数字PLL 818提供恢复的时钟信号814,用作同步信号,提供到分组同步器810,因此数据流812是与时钟714同步。同步以太网数据流812被提供到分离器/组合器512,然后通过以太网布线230被传输到集线器单元510。注意,该恢复的时钟信号814也被远程单元本地振荡器220U和222D所采用,分别用于上行和下行蜂窝信号的向下转换和向上转换。
在参考图9所示的方法900之前,本发明的主要特征在这里重现,基于图2至图9的描述。
1)创建同步以太网数据流,该数据流包括所有必需的“附加数据、同步和接收的以太网信号”。集线器单元和远程单元交换管理数据,该管理数据包括在远程单元内关于电子电路的状态和操作情况的指示。这个数据室在远程单元内产生,并发送到集线器单元。管理数据也可包括从集线器单元发到远程单元用于控制它们的电路的控制信息。
2)在集线器单元,同步以太网数据流是由时钟信号同步的,是用于集线器单元和远程单元的参考信号的起源。
3)在远程单元,同步以太网数据流是由恢复的参考信号来同步的。
4)在远程单元,参考信号是从同步以太网数据流采用分组开启器和数字PLL来恢复的。
5)在集线器单元,参考信号是被用作频率合成器的参考,它馈给向上转换器和向下转换器,用于向下转换下行信号和向上转换上行信号。
6)在远程单元,恢复的参考信号是被用作频率合成器的参考,它馈给向上转换器和向下转换器,用于向下转换上行信号和向上转换下行信号。由于在远程单元的参考信号的精确重建,在该远程单元的恢复的参考信号的频率是等同于在集线器单元的参考信号的频率,因此,下行无线信号可在远程单元精确地重建,上行无线信号可在集线器单元精确地重建。
7)所有其他必需的“附加数据、同步和接收的以太网信号”都在各边被提供到它们各自的链路,在它们在各边由分组开启器重新找回之后。
现在参考图9,该图显示了用于在以太网布线上对第一信号进行通信的方法900的流程图,该第一信号是在第一频带之上初始被携带的,而该以太网布线具有几个端点设备,它们与用于第一频带的无线设备相关联。方法900包括:与第一端点设备关联的步骤,与第二端点设备关联的步骤。在第一端点设备中,第一信号是从在第一频带上的被携带状态向下转换905到在第二频带上的被携带状态。第二频带是能在以太网布线上传播的。此外,与第一频带相关联并与第二频带相关联的参考信号被嵌入910在同步以太网数据流上,以致该参考信号从该同步以太网数据流的恢复是可能的。该同步以太网数据流包括:在第一端点设备处接收的以太网信号,以及附加数据和其他同步信号。然后,在以太网布线上提交915同步以太网数据流和已转换的第一信号。在第二端点设备内,参考信号是从同步以太网数据流中恢复920,再被用于将第一信号向上转换925回到第一频带的信号的合成,以致该已向上转换的第一信号是在第一频带之上无线传输的。此外,同步以太网数据流、以太网信号、附加数据和其他同步信号的内容被重新找回并分配927到它们各自的目的地。
在一些实施例中,第一端点设备是联接到蜂窝基站551或蜂窝中继器552的集线器单元510,第一信号是下行蜂窝信号。第二端点设备室与蜂窝端用户设备561和以太网目的地565相关联的远程单元520。上行信号也在以太网布线上进行通信,从远程单元520传输到集线器单元510。该上行信号是在上行频带之上初始被携带的,而在远程单元内,该上行信号被向下转换930为能在以太网布线上传播的已向下转换的上行频带。该上行频带和已向下转换的上行频带是由参考信号来关联的,在以太网布线之上被传送,由同步以太网数据流从集线器单元510传送到远程单元520。此外,附加数据和其他同步信号被嵌入932在同步以太网数据流上。然后,已向下转换的上行信号在以太网布线上被提交935到集线器单元510。在那里,已向下转换的上行信号是被向上转换940到上行频带,并被联接到蜂窝基站551或联接到蜂窝中继器552。此外,从集线器单元重新找回945同步以太网数据流的内容,并分配到在集线器一侧的目的地。

Claims (20)
1.一种用于在布线基础设施上对第一信号进行通信的方法,所述第一信号是在第一频带之上初始被携带的,所述布线基础设施具有两个或更多端点设备,每个端点设备是与用于第一频带的无线设备相关联的,所述方法包括:
在所述两个或更多端点设备的第一端点设备内,
(a)将第一信号从在第一频带上的被携带状态转换到在第二频带上的被携带状态,所述第二频带是能在所述布线基础设施上传播的;
(b)在分组流上嵌入参考信号,所述参考信号是可用于将无线信号从第一频带转换到第二频带,并从第二频带转换回第一频带,所述参考信号是可从所述分组流恢复的;以及
(c)提交所述分组流以及在所述布线基础设施上的已转换的第一信号;
以及在所述两个或更多端点设备的第二端点设备内,
(d)从所述分组流恢复所述参考信号;以及
(f)采用恢复的参考信号用于将所述第一信号从在第二频带上携带的状态转换到在第一频带上携带的状态。
2.根据权利要求l所述的方法,其特征在于:所述参考信号是与所述第一频带上的被携带状态以及所述第二频带上的被携带状态以频率相关联的。
3.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于:第一本地振荡器是被用于在所述第一端点设备内的所述第一信号的所述转换中,而第二本地振荡器是被用于在所述第二端点设备内的所述第一信号的所述转换中,所述第一和第二本地振荡器都是由所述参考信号来同步的。
4.根据权利要求l所述的方法,其特征在于:所述分组流是同步以太网数据流。
5.根据权利要求4所述的方法,其特征在于:第一比特率是被用于所接收的以太网信号,而第二比特率是被用于所述的同步以太网数据流,所述第二比特率是比所述第一比特率高至少5%。
6.根据权利要求l所述的方法,其特征在于:所述分组流还包括用于安装在所述第二端点设备内的电子电路的管理的数据。
7.据权利要求l所述的方法,其特征在于:所述分组流还包括用于安装在所述第二端点设备内的电子电路的同步信号。
8.根据权利要求l所述的方法,其特征在于:所述第一信号的已转换的复制物是被包括在所述分组流的特定帧的数字格式中。
9.根据权利要求l所述的方法,其特征在于:所述第一频带是在一个或多个接入方法中操作的蜂窝频带,该接入方法选自以下多个接入方法之一:频分多址接入,码分多址接入,时分多址接入,偏振分多址接入,以及它们的组合。
10.根据权利要求l所述的方法,其特征在于:所述第一端点设备是与蜂窝基站相关联的集线器单元或者与蜂窝中继器相关联的集线器单元,所述第一信号是下行蜂窝信号,而第二端点设备是与蜂窝端用户设备相关联的远程单元以及与以太网目的地相关联的远程单元。
11.根据权利要求10所述的方法,其特征在于:上行信号是从所述远程单元传递到在所述布线基础设施上的所述集线器单元,所述上行信号是在上行频带之上初始被携带的,所述上行信号是由以下传递来通信:
在所述远程单元内,
(i)向下转换所述上行信号,从在所述上行频带之上的被携带状态转换到在已向下转换的上行频带之上的被携带状态,所述已向下转换的上行频带是能在所述布线基础设施上传播的,所述上行频带和所述已向下转换的上行频带是由所述参考信号关联的;以及
(ii)提交在所述布线基础设施上的所述已向下转换的上行信号;以及
在所述集线器单元内,
(iii)向上转换所述已向下转换的上行信号,从在所述已向下转换的上行频带之上的被携带状态转换到在所述上行频带之上的被携带状态;
因而将所述已向上转换的上行信号提供到所述蜂窝基站或蜂窝中继器。
12.一种用于在以太网基础设施上传输第一无线信号到一个或多个远程单元的集线器单元,所述集线器单元和每个远程单元是与用于第一频带的无线设备相关联的,所述第一无线信号是在第一频带之上初始被携带的,所述集线器单元包括:
(a)频率转换部分,适用于将所述第一无线信号从在第一频带之上被携带的状态转换为在第二频带之上被携带的状态,所述第二频带是能在以太网布线上传播的;以及
(b)分组同步器,适用于将以下信号合并成为单独的同步以太网数据流:与所述第一频带和所述第二频带相关联的至少一个参考信号,在第一端点设备上接收的以太网信号;所述参考信号是从所述单独的同步以太网数据流恢复的;
由此,所述单独的同步以太网数据流和所述已转换的第一无线信号在所述以太网基础设施上被提交,当到达远程单元时,所述参考信号是从所述单独的同步以太网数据流中恢复,已转换的第一无线信号是从在所述第二频带之上被携带状态转换到在所述第一频带之上被携带状态,已转换的第一无线信号是在所述第一频带之上被无线传输。
13.根据权利要求12所述的集线器单元,其特征在于,所述频率转换部分包括:
(i)本地振荡器,用于产生与所述参考信号同步的信号;
(ii)混频器,用于接收所述信号和所述第一无线信号,并产生多个总和与不同的信号;以及
(iii)滤波器,用于从所述的多个总和与不同的信号中选择合适的信号。
14.根据权利要求12所述的集线器单元,其特征在于:所述集线器单元是与蜂窝基站或者蜂窝中继器相关联的,所述第一无线信号是下行信号。
15.根据权利要求12所述的集线器单元,其特征在于:所述单独的同步以太网数据流是同步以太网数据流。
16.根据权利要求15所述的集线器单元,其特征在于:所述同步以太网数据流的比特率是比所接收的以太网信号的各自比特率高至少5%。
17.根据权利要求15所述的集线器单元,其特征在于:所述分组同步器是适用于将所述第一无线信号的复制物嵌入所述同步以太网数据流的的帧内。
18.一种在与以太网布线相关联的通信系统内的远程单元,所述远程单元从集线器单元接收下行信号,用于传输到蜂窝端用户设备,所述远程单元将从所述蜂窝端用户设备接收的信号传输到所述集线器单元,所述集线器单元与所 述远程单元都是与用于上行和下行无线频带的无线设备相关联的,所述上行信号是在无线上行频带之上初始被携带的,所述远程单元包括:
(a)分组开启器,适用于从所述集线器单元接收同步以太网数据流,并将在与所述同步以太网数据流的数据率相关联的频率内的信号提供给数字锁相环;
(b)数字锁相环,用于接收在与所述同步以太网数据流的数据率相关联的频率内的信号,并提取参考信号,所述参考信号能够用于将信号从无线上行频带转换到向下转换的上行频带以及从向下转换的上行频带转换到无线上行频带;以及
(c)频率转换部分,适用于将所述上行信号从在无线上行频带之上被携带的状态转换到在已向下转换的上行频带之上被携带的状态,所述已向下转换的上行频带是能在以太网布线上传播的,所述上行频带和所述已向下转换的上行频带是由所述参考信号关联的;
由此,所述已向下转换的上行频带是在以太网布线上提交,当到达所述集线器单元时,所述已向下转换的上行信号从在所述已向下转换的上行频带之上被携带的状态转变为在所述上行频带上被携带的状态,并被提供给无线设备。
19.根据权利要求18所述的远程单元,其特征在于:所述集线器单元提交同步以太网数据流,所述的远程单元还包括:
(i)以太网分组重构器,用于:
(A)从所述分组开启器接收所述同步以太网数据流的内容;以及
(B)产生具有至少部分的用于提交到以太网目的地的所述内容的异步以太网信号;
以及
(ii)分组同步器,适用于:
(I)从以太网源接收异步的以太网信号;以及
(11)产生具有至少部分的所述异步以太网信号的内容。
20.根据权利要求19所述的远程单元,其特征在于:所述分组同步器还适用于:
(I)接收一个或多个数据项目,所述数据项目是选自:服务其他设备的数 据,关于在所述远程单元内的电子电路的状态和操作情况的指示,从所述集线器单元发送到所述远程单元的控制命令,来自同步源的同步数据,以及
(11)将所接收的数据项目包括在所产生的同步以太网系统内。
