当减压被传送时,歧管120可以横向地压缩和收缩以形成半刚性的基材。可以产生很多有益的力和作用。减压被进一步地仍然通过歧管120传输,使得减压在患者的表皮104和切口102被感受到。至少在愈合过程的早期阶段,减压也可以通过切口102并且在皮下组织108中实现。减压帮助闭合缺陷,例如皮下的空隙112,并且通常向区域提供稳定性。向盖布116传送的减压还产生再次可以提供稳定性和治疗的压缩力,如由箭头154表示的。如由箭头154表示的压缩力不仅仅在表皮104的水平处;压缩力可以向下延伸得更深并且可以在皮下组织108的水平被感受到。 
此外,当创伤盖布116和歧管120在减压的影响下横向地收缩时,可以产生向内的力,如由箭头156表示的,所述向内的力帮助在切口102上保持额外的闭合力并且通常可以向创伤提供额外的稳定性。因此,来自减压的由箭头156表示的向内的力和由盖布116的收缩产生的由箭头138表示的闭合力可以共同起作用,以帮助帮助闭合切口102和/或将切口102保持在实质上闭合的位置中。同时,被传送至并且通过歧管120的减压帮助 从切口102除去任何渗出液和其他流体。所有这些作用可以改善组织部位例如切口102的愈合。

流体供应管,其在第一端流体地耦合于所述可流体膨胀的囊;以及
流体控制装置,其流体地耦合于所述流体供应管的第二端,所述流体控制装置用于选择性地向所述可流体膨胀的囊施用流体。
31.根据权利要求28所述的创伤盖布,其中所述可流体膨胀的囊能够向患者的组织提供压缩力。
32.一种制造创伤盖布的方法,所述方法包括以下步骤:
形成用于放置在组织部位上的柔性片,所述柔性片具有第一各向同性区和第二各向同性区,所述第一各向同性区包括可流体膨胀的囊;以及
其中所述第一各向同性区和所述第二各向同性区被配置为向所述柔性片提供各向异性的伸展性质。
