技术领域
本文所述主题涉及处理SCCP消息。更具体地，本文所述主题涉及选择性地处理或重定向SCCP消息的方法、系统和计算机程序产品。
背景技术
在电信网络中，向电信用户提供新的服务经常是所希望的。例如，在移动通信网络中，可以期待将用户从一种协议，比如暂行标准41(IS-41)，迁移至新的协议，比如提供新的服务的全球移动通信系统(GSM)。在这样的网络中，由于用户可能不在同一时间全部迁移，网络可以包括IS-41用户、GSM用户、IS-41交换机、GSM交换机、IS-41HLR和GSM HLR。
在这种网络中，IS-41交换机可以是遗留(legacy)交换机。为这些遗留交换机提供正确地路由呼叫并发送涉及迁移的用户和新的GSM用户的信令消息的能力是所希望的。一种允许IS-41交换机正确地路由呼叫并发送涉及迁移的用户和新的GSM用户的信令消息的方法是将交换机进行修改来发送基于全局码路由(基于GT路由)的信令消息。在一些网络中，IS-41交换机发送基于信令点编码子系统号码路由(基于PC-SSN路由)的信令消息，比如信令连接控制部分(SCCP)消息。基于PC-SSN路由而被发送的消息通常其地址为最终目的地，比如IS-41HLR。基于GT路由而被发送的消息通常其地址为中间节点的信令点编码，比如STP，其执行全局码转换、确定消息的目的地并且将消息路由至目的地。将基于PC-SSN路由来发送消息的IS-41交换机修改为基于GT路由来发送消息可能并不符合成本效益，尤其 是在于其中具有很大的安装有交换机的基站的网络中。

发明内容
本文所述主题包括选择性地处理或重定向SCCP消息的方法、系统和计算机程序产品。根据一种方法，地址为STP并基于PC-SSN路由而被发送的SCCP消息在该STP被接收。确定SCCP消息是否可以由STP来进行本地处理。响应于确定SCCP消息可以由STP进行本地处理，SCCP消息被终止，进行本地处理，并且响应被发送给消息始发者。响应于SCCP消息不能在STP进行本地处理，消息被重定向至目的地。

具体实施方式
本文所述主题包括选择性地处理或重定向SCCP消息的方法、系统和计算机程序产品。本文所述主题可以在位于网络交换系统(比如，移动交换中心(MSC)或业务交换点(SSP))和目的地节点(比如，归属位置登记器(HLR)或服务控制点(SCP))之间的节点上实现，该节点可用于处理一些SCCP消息。在一个实现中，本文所述主题可在信令转接点(STP)中实现。图1是根据本文所述主题说明可以被执行的用于选择性地处理或重定向SCCP消息的示例性步骤的流程图。参照图1，在方框100中，地址为STP并基于PC-SSN路由而被发送的SCCP消息在STP处被接收。参照图2中说明的网络实例，STP200可以位于包括IS-41MSC202、IS-41HLR204、GSM MSC206和GSM HLR208在内的网络中。当IS-41MSC202接收到向移动用户发起呼叫的初始地址消息(IAM)消息或其它的消息时，IS-41MSC202可以发送位置请求消息来确定被叫方的位置。在该实现中，位置请求消息基于PC-SSN路由而被发送。位置请求消息的地址为STP200的能力信令点编码。能力信令点编码是由STP200用于识别可以在STP处进行本地处理或重定向的SCCP消息的信令点编码。
返回图1，在方框102和104中，确定SCCP消息是否可以由STP来进行本地处理。如果确定SCCP消息可以进行本地处理，SCCP消息被终止， 进行本地处理，并且响应被发送给消息始发者。返回图2，当STP200接收到位置请求消息时，STP200将消息辨认为地址为它的能力信令点编码来进行选择性的SCCP消息处理或重定向。在一个实现中，通过确定由位置请求消息识别的被叫方是否已经迁移至GSM，STP200确定它是否可以在本地处理SCCP消息。在这个实例中，确定出用户已经迁移至GSM。由此，STP200作出位置请求返回结果消息指示用户已经迁移。STP200将位置请求返回结果消息发送给IS-41MSC202。IS-41MSC202通过向GSM MSC206发送IAM消息来将呼叫转发至GSM MSC206。GSM MSC206然后将向GSM HLR208发出发送路由信息(SRI)消息，来确定被叫方的位置。从而，在图2中，STP200确定出它可以在本地处理SCCP消息，并处理该消息。
返回图1，在方框104中，如果确定出SCCP消息不能在本地处理，控制继续至方框108，在那里消息被重定向至目的地来处理。参照图3，响应于呼入的移动终止呼叫，自IS-41MSC202发起位置请求消息。位置请求消息基于PC-SSN路由而被发送至STP200的能力信令点编码，用于选择性的SCCP消息处理或重定向。在这个实例中，假设被叫方并未迁移至GSM。由此，STP200可以确定它不能处理该查询消息，因为用户并未迁移。在这种情形下，STP200可以将位置请求消息重定向至IS-41HLR204。IS-41HLR204可以使用位置请求消息中的用户标识符执行查找并确定用户的当前位置。IS-41HLR204然后可以通过STP200将位置请求返回结果消息发送至IS-41MSC202，指示用户的位置。
在一个示例性实现中，为了将接收到的SCCP消息重定向至IS-41HLR204，STP200可以从消息的SCCP部分复制被叫方信令点编码，并将被叫方信令点编码置于消息的MTP路由标签中。这个实现要求IS-41MSC202将IS-41HLR的信令点编码插入到SCCP查询消息的被叫方信令点编码字段中。从而，在图3中说明的实例中，响应于确定出STP200不能处理该消息，STP200对于基于PC-SSN路由而被发送至STP200的消息进行重定向。
图4是根据本文所述主题的实施例，说明选择性地处理或重定向SCCP消息的STP200的示例性组成部分的框图。参照图4，STP200包括经由反向旋转的、双环形总线408连接的多个内部处理模块400、402、404和406。在说明的实例中，处理模块包括连接SS7信令链路的链路端口模块(LIM) 400、连接IP信令链路的数据通信模块(DCM)402以及执行数据库相关的服务的数据库服务模块(DSM)404和406，比如选择性地处理或重定向SCCP查询消息。
LIM400包括执行SS7MTP第一级和第二级操作的消息传递部分(MTP)第一级和第二级功能模块410，比如通过SS7信令链路发送的SS7信令消息的组序、检错和纠错。网关筛选功能模块412筛选入局的SS7消息来确定是否允许消息进入网络。鉴别功能模块414筛选入局的SS7消息来确定消息是要求由STP200进行内部处理，还是应该被路由。分发功能模块414接收被鉴别功能模块414识别为要求由STP200进行内部处理的消息。分发功能模块416将消息分发至内部处理模块，比如DSM404或者406，用于内部处理。路由功能模块418对被鉴别功能模块414识别为要求路由的消息进行路由。
如上所述，通常，基于PC-SSN路由而被发送至STP的消息由路由功能模块比如路由功能模块418被路由至目的地。然而，根据本文所述主题，可能要求由STP200内部处理或重定向的SCCP查询消息的地址为STP200的能力信令点编码。对于这样的消息，鉴别功能模块414可以将消息识别为要求内部处理(重定向或本地终止)，并将这样的消息转发至分发功能模块416。分发功能模块416然后可以将这样的消息转发至DSM插板404和406二者之一，以进行内部处理。
DCM插板402包括连接IP信令链路的功能模块，以及特别是连接输送IP封装的SS7信令消息的IP信令链路的功能模块。在说明的实例中，DCM402包括物理层功能模块420、网络层功能模块422、传输层功能模块424、适配层功能模块426以及所描述关于LIM400的功能模块410-418。物理层功能模块420执行OSI物理层操作，比如通过OSI第一和第二层信令链路发送的消息的纠错和检错。在一个实现中，物理层功能模块420可以使用以太网来实现。网络层功能模块422执行比如信令消息的网络层路由的操作。在一个实现中，网络层功能模块可以使用互联网协议来实现。传输层功能模块424执行OSI传输层功能，例如面向连接或面向流的消息传输。传输层功能模块可以使用传输控制协议、用户数据报协议或流控制传输协议来实现。适配层功能模块426执行通过IP传输来发送和接收SS7 消息的操作。适配层功能模块428可以使用任何信令传输(Sigtran)适配层协议比如SUA、M3UA、M2PA或其他适合的协议来实现。功能模块410-418可以执行与关于LIM400所描述相应编号的功能模块相同的操作。因此，此处将不再重复它的描述。
应该注意是，本文所述的选择性地处理或重定向SCCP消息的主题，能够执行通过IP传输来发送的SCCP消息，以及同样地，通过SS7传输来发送的消息的处理或重定向。因此，本文所述的术语“SCCP”并不是要限制在使用SS7传输在网络上发送的消息。DCM卡402接收到的IP封装的SCCP消息将被解封装，并且假如它的地址为上述STP200的能力信令点编码，则被转发至DSM卡404和406二者之一，用于选择的处理或重定向。
DSM404和406可以被相同地提供，以负载分配的方式来提供与数据库相关的和/或其他的服务。在说明的实例中，所提供的一种与数据库相关的服务是选择性的SCCP处理或重定向。DSM404和406中的每一个可以被提供服务选择功能模块428，其识别入局的SCCP查询消息的SCCP服务。对于地址为选择性的SCCP消息处理或重定向的能力信令点编码的消息，服务选择功能模块428可以将这样的消息转发至选择性的SCCP处理/重定向功能模块430。选择性的SCCP处理/重定向功能模块430可以在用户数据库432中执行查找，来确定SCCP消息是否可以进行本地处理。在上述的迁移实例中，指向已迁移的用户的消息可以进行本地处理，而指向未迁移的用户的消息可以被重定向。用户数据库432可以包括由用户标识符进行索引编排的表项，比如IMSI、MSISDN号码或电话簿号码。每个表项可以包括有关用户是否迁移的指示。可替换地，数据库432可以仅由已迁移的用户的表现来构成，从而消除在数据库表项中存储迁移状态指示附的需求。用户数据库432可以由外部供应平台来提供，被称为Eagle@ProvisioningApplication Processor(EPAP，鹰@供应应用处理器)434。

Claims (17)

确定所述SCCP消息是否可以由所述STP在本地处理；
响应于确定出所述SCCP消息可以由所述STP在本地处理，在所述STP处对所述SCCP消息进行本地处理，并将响应发送给所述SCCP消息的始发者；以及
响应于确定出所述SCCP消息不能在所述STP处进行本地处理，将所述SCCP消息从所述STP重定向至目的地。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法，其中所述SCCP消息包括在支持移动用户在移动信令协议之间迁移的网络中的移动性管理消息。
3.根据权利要求2所述的方法，其中所述确定所述SCCP消息是否可以由所述STP在本地处理包括：确定与所述SCCP消息相关联的用户在所述移动信令协议之间已迁移还是未迁移。
4.根据权利要求3所述的方法，包括响应于确定出所述用户已经在所述移动信令协议之间迁移，确定所述SCCP消息可以在所述STP处进行本地处理。
