然而,目前还没有工程师或设计者可用的单一织物,所述织物具有直接与之整合的电能储存部分(aspect),并且仍然是薄的、柔软的,并且可以如常规织物一样容易地制成产品。因此,当前需要这样的织物,其还具有现代工程织物的所有标准特征,诸如不透水性、透气、湿气芯吸性(moisture wickability)、拉伸、颜色和质地选择。到目前为止,还没有出现具有所有这些特征的织物。
发明概述
本发明公开的实施方案涉及一种织物,其具有现代工程织物的所有特征,诸如防水、不透水性、湿气芯吸性、透气性、拉伸、以及颜色和质地选择,还具有储存电能并且释放之以提供加热、冷却、发光和其它电能用途的能力。另外,在本发明的一种形式中,存在选择,从其环境获得能量,将其转化成电能,并且将其储存在织物内以备将来应用。随着薄膜淀积技术(thin film deposition technology)、聚合物技术、MEMs、和新工程材料的出现和进步,现在可以生产具有所有上述特征的织物。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,提供一种包括能量储存部分和能量释放部分的材料。可以提供可选的充电部分或再充电部分,以及可选的处理和密封,以及可选的保护和装饰部分。应该注意到,这些部分可以共面或分层排列,只要所述部分连续地连接或者包封在一起。

发明详述
首先参考图1,其中显示的是按照本发明的一个实施方案制成的柔韧的片层10。
图1作为用图解法举例说明完成的能量织物10的柔韧的片层形式,其包括能量释放部分12和能量储存部分14。可选的充电部分16或再充电部分18或其组合与还可以是装饰部分的可选的保护部分20一起显示。这些部分可以分开制备,并且然后层压到一起或者每一部分可以直接淀积到在其下部的部分上,或者可以应用这两种技术的组合来生产最终的织物。这些部分可以以任何顺序排列,包括共面排列,层,面和其它堆积排列,并且对于最终织物每一部分可以存在多种情形。
所述部分还可以在同一平面上具有不同的实施方案。例如,充电或再充电平面16,18的一个部分可以使用光电体,而另一部分可以使用压电体,或者能量释放平面的一个部分可以产生光,而另一部分可以产生热。类似地,所述平面的一个部分可以产生光,而在同一平面上的另一部分可以使用光电体为能量储存部分再充电。一些部分必须与其它部分中的一些电连接。这可以使用直接在所述部分之间的特定点22存在的接触,或者使用通过导线24发生的接触而进行,所述导线24通过远端PCB 26连接,由此提供操作输入、监测和控制能力。尽管不是需要的,这种PCB26可以构建在柔韧的基质上,导线24也是如此,并且PCB 26可以使用本领域已知的但在本文中没有详细描述的控制方法和装置而同时控制多个分开的织物情况。简要地,可以使用控制器,诸如固定的和可变的阻抗、电容、电感以及上述的组合,以及包埋在相应的硬件中的软件和固件,以调控电压和电流、相位关系、时间、以及最终影响输出的其它已知的变量。调控可以是使用者控制的或自动的或两者的组合。
连接所述部分的导线24可以,但是不必须,与远端PCB 26相连。所有的导线连接应该在接触点密封,以提供完全的电绝缘。所述柔韧的PCB26,其包含电路、组件、开关和传感器,还可以作为另一部分直接整合到最终织物中,共面或分层,并且导线也是如此。
将单独的部分制成定制的、供能的纺织面料(panel)的方法由下列各项组成:1)将能量储存、能量释放和可能的能量再充电部分相邻或在彼此的顶端放置(取决于面料设计和功能),2)通过将提供理想的功能性的薄软电路粘附于其上而将各个部分电互连,并且然后3)层压在透气、不透水薄膜之间的这种电整合的完整系统。在面料的这种加热实施方案中优选的材料将由下列各项组成:用于能量储存部分的锂聚合物,用于能量释放部分的PTC加热器,用于再充电部分的压电体薄膜,用于薄软电互连的淀积在聚酯基质上的铜迹(trace),和作为包封薄膜或保护性部分的高湿气渗透率(Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate)的聚氨酯薄膜。尽管可以使用布料,但是优选地应该层压在包封的薄膜上。布可以是任何类型的材料,并且将与本文所述的装饰部分相对应。布的类型将完全取决于需要的颜色、质地、芯吸性、以及面料外部的其它特征。
一种薄膜、锂离子聚合物电池,诸如由Gaston Narada,Voltaflex,Solicore,Sanyo,Cymbet,Excellatron,Valence,Amperex或Enderel制备的,是一种理想的软薄、可再充电式的、电能储存部件。这些电池制备的详细资料是有专利权的,但是每一电池由薄膜阳极层、阴极层和电解层组成,并且每一电池形成储存并且释放电能的薄软片层,并且可再充电。现在,先进电池技术有限公司(Advanced Battery Technologies,Inc.),还使用碳纳米管,与锂聚合物电池技术结合,以增加容量,并且将以与标准聚合物电池相同的方式整合到最终织物中。应该注意,所述能量储存部分应该由其特征不随着使用和弯曲而退化的材料组成。在锂聚合物的情形中,这通常意味着,电解液塑化越多,随着弯曲而发生的电池的退化就越少。
可以用于能量储存部分的另一种技术是由Skeleton Technologies,Cooper Electronic Technology′s PowerStor Aerogel,和TelcordiaTechnologies开发和制造的各种类型的超级电容器(supercapacitor)或超大电容器(ultracapacitor)。这些类型的超级电容器使用不同的技术,以获得薄软、可再充电的能量储存薄膜,并且在超大-和超级-电容器工业中是关于整合并且用于本发明的当前可获得的商购品的优良实例。
不同类型(PEM,DFMC,固体氧化物,MEMS和氢)的薄膜微燃料电池也可以从诸如NEC、东芝(Toshiba)、Millennium Cell、MTI Micro和日本电报和电话公司(Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation)的公司获得,其可以层压到最终织物上,以提供与薄膜电池或薄膜电容器储存部分联合(杂混)工作或者替代之工作的结合的能量来源。
在能量释放部分方面,存在一些实施方案,包括但不限于加热、冷却和发光。
对于加热实施方案,由Minco,Birk Manufacturing,Tempco或Qfoil byECG Enterprises,Inc.制造的标准的细线或蚀刻的薄膜电阻加热器工作良好。由Conductive Technologies,Thermo、或ITW Chronotherm制造的PTC或正温度系数电阻加热器也非常良好地作为薄膜、自我调控的加热器部分。在PTC的情形中,构建它的加热器以自身特异性调控到在制造之前确定的温度。这意味着,所述电阻加热元件依据所述加热器的即时温度而改变其电阻,而不需要使用传感器和添加的电路。所有这些加热元件淀积在通常为kapton或聚酯的薄软基质上,然后其可以使用或不使用粘合剂层压到其余的织物部分上,或者所述加热元件可以直接淀积到邻接的织物部分上。例如,所述加热器元件可以直接淀积在锂聚合物电池的包装层上,并且然后覆盖有聚合物、kapton、氨基甲酸酯的薄膜或一些其它薄软材料,以包封并且绝缘所述加热元件和/或织物部分。
对于能量释放部分的冷却实施方案,由ITR国际开发和生产的薄膜、超晶格、热电冷却装置理想地整合到最终织物中。作为薄膜装置,它可以使用作为其基质的另一个织物部分进行淀积(deposit),或者可以淀积到分开的基质上,并且然后使用或不使用粘合剂层压到其余存在的织物部分上。
对于能量释放部分的发光实施方案,存在许多基于有机聚合物的可用于整合到织物中的薄膜技术。由OSRAM,Cambridge Display Technologies和Universal Display Corporation制造的有机发光二极管(OLEDs)是基于聚合物的装置,其制造成薄软片层形状,并且可以直接从DC电源供能,而不需转换器。使用DC电源而不需转换器的实用有机、柔韧的发光技术的一些其它的实例包括,由Cambridge Display Technologies制造的聚合物发光二极管(PLEDs),同样由Cambridge Display Technologies制造的发光聚合物(LEPs),由E-Ink制造的电子Ink,和目前由Sarnoft、Softpixel、三星和东芝开发和制造的柔韧的液晶显示器(LCDs)。所述织物的发光实施方案可以用来显示静态发光设计(static lit design)或变化无常的显示(changingpixilated display)。作为薄膜装置,所有这些技术可以使用另一个织物部分作为它们的基质进行淀积,或者它们可以淀积到分开的基质上,并且然后使用或不使用粘合剂层压到其余存在的织物部分上。
在它的一些实施方案中,对于充电和再充电部分存在许多目前可用的选择。在所述实施方案使用光能为能量存储部分充电或再充电的情形中,一些光电体制造商诸如ETA Engineering′s Unisolar,和Iowa Thin FilmTechnology′s Powerfilm生产薄软的光电体元件。
在所述实施方案使用织物弯曲和压电材料产生储存在电能储存部分的电能的情形中,诸如Continuum′s PiezoFlex,Mide′s Poweract,Measurement Specialties′Piezo Film和Advanced Cerametrics Incorporated公司生产容易地层压并且电整合到最终织物中的薄膜。
在所述实施方案使用磁性、电感的或无线充电系统而产生储存的电能的情形中,诸如Splashpower和Salcomp公司目前制造可以层压并且电整合到最终织物中的工艺。
还应该注意,在用作能量释放实施方案的热电(Peltier)、或光电(光电体)情形中,这一部分还可以以可逆的方式使用,如能量再充电部分用作能量储存部分。例如,如果系统产生大量过剩的热能,假定在高需氧运动过程中所用的衣服的情形中,热能可以被热电部分转化成电能储存在能量储存部分,并且然后当在需氧运动停止后没有热量时,可以通过热电部分可逆地用于加热。当没有光时,同一类的能量收集技术可以由光电(光电体)部分用来产生光,并且当存在过剩的光时,还将光能转化成电能储存在能量储存部分。在压电实施方案的情形中,电能可以在弯曲过程中产生并且储存,并且然后可逆地用于使所述压电部分硬化,如果需要织物硬化的话。这一内容仅仅描述可逆织物部分的一些实施方案,然而存在许多在所述实施方案内的可能的部分变化。
存在许多可以用于保护和装饰部分的可用产品。Maiden Mills是具有宽广的生产线和许多实用产品的供应商的良好实例。例如,它们的生产线包括加工成接近皮肤芯吸性的、纤维性的、羊毛型舒服的、防水性的、特别的颜色、特别的质地、以及可以通过将所述部分层压到最终织物而整合的许多其它特征。还存在许多可以用作密封和保护性包封的热塑性氨基甲酸酯(TPUs)。这些材料表现出非常高的湿气传递率(Moisture VaporTransmission Ratios(MVTRs)),并且极端防水,这允许组装的能量储存、释放和再充电部分以便被包封在高度透气性的、防水材料中,所述材料还提供高度的保护和耐用性。目前制造这些TPUs的一些公司为AmericanPolyfilm、Inc.(API)、Onmiflex和Noveon。除了固体整体结构的TPUs,还存在可以用作透气性、防水密封和保护性包封的多微孔材料。这种多微孔技术通常在Gore产品中找到,并且还可以与TPUs联合使用。还应该注意到,当围绕组装部分层压这些透气性防水包封时,不管是否使用粘合剂,必须小心,以保持层压的透气性。如果使用粘合剂,那么这一粘合剂还必须具有透气性特征。对于不使用粘合剂的层压过程也应该如此。不管粘合过程是什么,需要保持包封的保护部分的透气性和防水性,条件是这些是最终纺织面料必须具有的特性。
图2举例说明完成的能量织物28的高柔韧性纺织形式,其包括纺织条带30,其中每一单独的条带包含能量释放部分、能量储存部分和可选的充电\再充电部分。条带30不必要用矩形部分构建,它们还可以用共轴部分32构建。条带30可以,但不必全部,在织物28的边34处电连接在相同的电势下分离的纺织的经线和纬线上的相似的接触36,所述电势适用于电路作用。所有的条带30不必要具有相同的特征。例如,具有不同能量释放方案的条带可以纺织到同一片织物中,如在38所示。
一种可选的处理或密封部分40可以淀积在最终织物28的一侧或两侧,以辅助所述织物的防水和透气性特征。这一包封部分防止液态水流过,但是允许水蒸汽和其它气体自由穿过。这种类型的淀积是本领域的技术人员公知的,并且将不在本文中更详细地描述。一个极好的实例将是有专利权的GoreTex层用于织物使其防水并且透气。应该注意,对于Goretex存在许多目前可商购的备选包衣材料,包括热塑性氨基甲酸酯,诸如API、Omniflex或Noveon制造的那些。还可以加上可选的保护性或装饰部分42,以改变最终织物的外部特征,诸如质地、耐用性、拉伸性或湿气芯吸性。

Claims (35)

1.一种材料,其包括:

10.权利要求1的材料,其中形成的所述第一和第二部分是柔韧的,并且具有下述特征的至少一种:透气性、湿气芯吸性、防水性(waterresistance)、不透水性(waterproof)和拉伸性。
11.权利要求10的材料,其中所述第一和第二部分分别包括第一和第二层,并且彼此邻近排列。
12.权利要求1的材料,其还包括用于调节分别在第一部分和第二部分中的能量储存和能量释放中的至少一种的装置。
13.一种柔韧的织物材料,其包括:
适于储存电能的第一层;和
第二层,其与第一层耦合,并且设置成从第一层接收电能,并且将所述电能用于散热、产热、发光和给电路供电中的至少一种。
14.权利要求13的材料,其包括第三层,所述第三层与第二层耦合,并且适于收集能量,并且将收集的能量转化成由第一层储存由第二层立即使用的电能,或者转化成储存在第一层并且同时由第二层使用的电能。
15.权利要求14的材料,其还包括至少一个保护层,所述保护层适于保护所述第一、第二和第三层,而不妨碍能量的收集、转化、储存和使用。
16.权利要求13的材料,其中所述第一和第二层是共面的。
17.权利要求13的材料,其还包括用于调控分别由第一和第二层进行的能量储存和能量使用中的至少一种的控制装置。
18.一种适于纺织以提供薄的柔韧性的织物的柔韧性织物材料,所述材料包括:
适于储存电能的第一柔韧的细丝;和
第二柔韧的细丝,其与第一柔韧的细丝耦合,并且适于从第一柔韧的细丝接收所储存的能量,用于散热、产热、发光和给电路供电中的至少一种。
19.权利要求18的材料,其包括第三柔韧的细丝,所述第三柔韧的细丝适于获得能量,并且将获得的能量转化成由第二柔韧的细丝储存的电能。
20.权利要求18的材料,其中所述第一柔韧的细丝和第二柔韧的细丝彼此分层。
21.权利要求19的材料,其中所述第一、第二和第三柔韧的细丝分层排列。
22.权利要求18的材料,其包括用于控制分别由第一和第二柔韧的细丝进行的能量储存和能量使用中的至少一种的调节器。

28.一种制备柔韧的材料的方法,其包括:
提供设置成储存能量的第一部分;和
提供与所述第一部分耦合并且适于将从所述第一部分接收的能量释放的第二部分。
29.权利要求28的方法,其包括提供第三部分,所述第三部分适于收集能量,并且将能量转化成储存在所述第二部分中的电能。
30.权利要求29的方法,其包括在所述材料的至少一侧提供至少一个保护部分。
31.权利要求28的方法,其中所述材料包括透气性、芯吸性、防水性、不透水性和拉伸性中的至少一种特征。
32.权利要求28的方法,其中所述第一和第二部分作为层叠在一起的单一层(plies)形成。
33.权利要求29的方法,其中第一、第二和第三部分作为层叠在一起的柔韧细丝形成,以形成层压的柔韧细丝,并且所述方法还包括纺织所述层叠的柔韧细丝以形成柔韧的材料。
