背景技术
对于彩票，刮奖或即时获奖彩票在过去几十年里已经成为彩票业的主要组成部分。多年来它们已经为全世界数十亿的玩家所喜爱。即奖彩票游戏设计的创新保持了该产品并允许持续增长。可是，近来即时获奖彩票的市场销售增加已经相对平缓。

另一种方法是将即时彩票的分销扩大到新场所，如超市收银通道。然而，与在超市收银通道设置即时彩票相关的物流与安全问题使得这种扩大分销的方法迄今是不现实的。

具体实施方式

由于本系统的此实施例允许标准化的EVM硬件和软件制造，因此所有EVM装置200可基本相同，而游戏和玩法的差异由即时票证202决定。作为结果，本实施例具有如下优点：消除处理种(seeded)EVM的物流复杂性；减小EVM 200或电子卡的成本；并改变电子卡销售的经济状况，因为一台EVM 200可玩由多种不同的即时票证202驱动的数种不同类型的游戏，从而在某些应用中允许EVM 202以低成本销售或甚至免费分发。因此玩家激活的EVM 202和相关定制票证202可建立于即时票证产品，通过提供动态游戏动作甚至声音相应地增强玩家的体验和感知价值。而且，因为游戏包含在与EVM 200关联的电子存储器中，游戏时间且因此游戏的感知价值可增加远远超过标准刮擦票证所能支持的程度。作为实例，尺寸为3×3英寸的即时票证可产生持续几分钟的游戏。该特征结合显示器280上显示的游戏图形和相关EVM的声音“字节”还可使游戏成为多媒体体验。获胜的游戏既可在显示器280上视觉地宣布也可在扬声器300上可听见地宣布。附加能力可包括物理地更改票证202，以便在游戏进行过程中允许刮擦票证202上的附加区域，从而为游戏增加另一维度。
在另一实施例中，使用可编程存储器或例如图1和图4中所示的插入式存储器318的外部存储器，可允许玩家个性化其EVM 200，例如使得EVM 200仅包含优选的游戏类型或奖励水平。EVM 200的内容因此可在销售点进行修改，例如以便包括玩家喜欢的号码或购买记录，或姓名和密码，以便基于购买记录提供玩家忠诚度信息或提供礼物或优惠券。此外，EVM 200的多媒体能力还可提供显示本地广告或玩家公告或区域独有参数的机会。
此外，特殊编程的票证或卡202可用于提供EVM 200的激活码。例如，激活卡可包括条码，如含有加密激活码的条码310。在销售点条码310将被读取和解密并用于生成含有多位激活密钥的销售发票，该激活密钥与卡202同步。当激活卡202插入到EVM 200的槽208中时，包含在激活卡202上的信息被EVM 200读取并用作确定EVM键盘输入的激活密钥数据是否正确的密钥。因此将阻止偷窃EVM 200，因为被偷盗的装置没有销售收据将不能发挥作用。
图8-12示出了玩家激活的游戏系统的另一个实施例。在此实施例的优选结构中，EVM 350配置有上部印刷表面1352，在此情况下，其复制传统游戏卡或彩票。EVM 350包括壳体354、底部356和一对导向元件358和360，用于将票证352接收和保持在EVM 350内。在某些应用中，票证352可与EVM 350分开购买并由玩家插入，或者EVM350和票证352可作为组装单元销售。在任何情况下，EVM 350还可包括优选为LCD显示单元的显示器362以及固定到底部356上的印制电路板364，具体参考图10和11。电路板364集成有微处理器或计算机，如图11和12中的366所示，其由任何简便的方法如排线368可操作地连接至显示器362。电池370设置用以向EVM 350供电。在此实施例中，以372指示的压敏开关也集成到电路板364中。在此优选实施例中，开关372包括涂敷到位于电路板364上的塑料膜上的导电碳，能有效实现电池370和微处理器366之间的电路连接，尽管也可使用其他类型的开关，包括FET 1268。在此特定实施例中，票证352包括涂敷在一组印制在票证352上的标记376之上的刮擦涂层374。这里，玩家按照刮擦涂层上印刷的指示“SCRATCH TO PLAY(刮擦并游戏)”除去涂层374并按压标记376指示处，这可具有对微处理器366加电的作用。该类包括开关372的结构还可用于控制在微处理器366中编程的游戏。其他机构也可用于激活EVM 350，包括结合图16所描述的一类拉片(pull-tab)结构394。
类似于图5中所示的票证202，票证352优选地包括一组具有230-260类型的印制电路元件，且在图11中以虚线形式以378总体示出。在包括EVM 350和票证352的系统的优选实施例中，印制元件378用于以与印制在上述票证202上的电路元件230-260相同的方式表示预定奖励水平和其他信息。
如图11和12中所示，为了提供电路元件378与微处理器366的电连接，一组连接器插脚380固定到电路板364上并电连接至微处理器366。当票证352如图8中所示完全插入或定位在EVM 350中时，插脚380将进行与电路元件378的电连接，从而允许包含在电路元件378中的信息传输到微处理器。
图13、14和15示出了插脚380的实施例。在图13中所示的插脚380的一个实施例中，实例插脚380A配置有弯曲部382，其下部通常位于电路板364中配置的孔或其他缺口384中。在此结构中，插脚380A由于偏置或弹簧作用可附加地将票证352保持在EVM 350中，同时允许票证352在制造时或由玩家插入EVM 350中。为了增加将票证352保持在电路板364上所需位置的偏压力，插脚380A插入电路板364的部分和连接到弯曲部382的部分之间的角度优选为90度或更小。在图14中所示的第二实施例中，插脚380B的一端以一定角度插入电路板364中，而另一端向下弯曲以在票证352上提供保持力。在图15中示出了插脚的第三实施例380C，其类似于插脚结构380B。然而，在此实施例中，插脚380C垂直延伸通过电路板364。为了协助在电路板364上保持和对齐插脚380C，插脚被塑料定位条386固定到一起。
图8-10中所示的EVM 350的另一个方面在于EVM 350可在壳体354的底部356中配置有开口388。在此实施例中，开口388与印制在票证352底面上的条码390对准(in registry with)。这里，条码390可含有验证和库存信息，非常类似于常规即时彩票。优选地，条码390将包括有关票证352的奖励值的信息，并因此将在功能上与包含在导电元件378中的信息有关。因此，例如程序化在票证1352上的获胜游戏可以与常规即时彩票相同的方式进行验证，例如由彩票代理商通过代理终端进行验证。
图16示出了玩家激活的游戏系统的又一个实施例。此实施例可包括几个与图11中所示实施例相同的基本元件，例如显示器362，印制电路板364，微处理器366，缆线368，电池370，玩家操作的(碳)开关372和接触插脚380，在此实施例中它们包含在优选由塑料制成的壳体390中。与壳体354一样，壳体390可包括开口392，用于读取印制在游戏卡上的条码。在此实施例中，拉片394可用于连接电池370至微处理器366，如图12的方框图中所示。印制的游戏识别卡396固定在部件362-372，380和394之上。在复制为常规即时彩票的形式的此实施例中，识别卡396包括赔付表398和位于开关372之上的印制按钮400。此外，识别卡396的此实例配置有与显示器362对准的三个开口或窗口402A-402C，以便玩家可观察到程序化在微处理器366中的游戏结果。优选地，以与常规即时彩票相同的方式将识别卡1396印制在纸质基片上，但也可使用如塑料的其他材料形成识别卡1396。为了例如按照赔付表398以预定结果或赔付对此实施例编程，可将优选地印制有电子电路元件例如元件230-260的编程卡404插入到壳体390的槽406中，其中接触插脚380将与印制在卡404上的触点230-244接触。在图16中所示实施例的一个彩票应用中，包括壳体390、印刷电路板364和编程有一个或多个游戏的微处理器366的本机可在一个地点批量制造。然后大量编程卡404可在另一个地点印制，其中例如每组或每册卡404确定某一特定彩票游戏的奖励结构。
作为结果，通过使用404类型的编程卡或202和352类型的票证，可以制造大量相同的电子游戏装置，而将玩家看来是随机的游戏结果构造为预定的奖励结构。

Claims (15)

1.一种游戏设备，其包括：
电子游戏装置，其包括计算机、可操作地连接至所述计算机的显示器、可操作地连接至所述计算机的游戏卡接口、和至少一个编程在所述计算机中的游戏；和
游戏卡，其包括存储在该游戏卡中的游戏信息，该游戏卡适于与所述接口连接，其中所述游戏卡与所述接口的连接允许玩家开始玩所述游戏；
其中在所述游戏卡上的所述游戏信息包含在印刷的导电元件中；且
其中所述游戏的结果仅由所述游戏卡上的所述游戏信息预定且显示在所述显示器上，并且不会由所述电子游戏装置所进行的任何后继游戏而改变。
2.如权利要求1所述的设备，其中所述游戏的结果是奖励额。
3.如权利要求2所述的设备，其中所述游戏是即时彩票游戏。
4.如权利要求1所述的设备，其中所述计算机编程有多个所述游戏，且所述信息包括规定的一个所述游戏的标识。
5.如权利要求4所述的设备，其中所述信息以导电墨印制在所述卡上。
6.如权利要求5所述的设备，其中所述游戏的结果由一个或多个以所述导电墨印制的阻抗表示，并且当所述游戏卡连接到所述接口时，所述计算机可确定所述阻抗的电子签名。
7.如权利要求6所述的设备，其中所述电子签名是所述阻抗的电阻的度量。
8.如权利要求5所述的设备，其中所述卡还包括条码，其包括功能上与所述信息有关的数据。
9.一种彩票游戏设备，其包括：
多个电子游戏装置，各自包括计算机、可操作地连接至所述计算机的显示器、可操作地连接至所述计算机的游戏卡接口，且其每个所述装置包括编程在所述计算机中的游戏；
一组游戏卡，其中所述组中的每个所述卡包括所述电子游戏装置运行所述游戏所需的数据，所述数据用导电墨以电路元件的形式印刷在所述卡上；
其中所述卡中的每一张具有预定游戏结果，该预定游戏结果仅由所述卡上的所述数据指示，并且不会由所述电子游戏装置所进行的任何后续游戏而改变；以及
其中所述卡适于与所述接口连接，从而允许玩家在所述装置上开始玩所述游戏，导致所述计算机产生所述预定游戏结果，该结果由连接到所述接口的所述卡上的所述数据指示，且其中所述结果显示在所述显示器上。
10.如权利要求9所述的设备，其中所述计算机通过所述接口对所述电路元件加电，并从所述电路元件的电子签名确定所述数据。
11.如权利要求9所述的设备，其中所述卡还包括条码，其含有功能上与所述数据有关的信息。
12.如权利要求9所述的设备，其中所述接口配置为允许玩家将所述卡插入到所述装置中，并在所述数据和所述计算机之间形成电连接。
13.如权利要求9所述的设备，其中所述装置包括开关，其可操作地连接至所述计算机并与所述卡上的预定位置对齐，其中所述开关可允许玩家进行所述游戏。
14.如权利要求9所述的设备，其中所述卡包括涂敷在至少一部分所述导电元件上的刮擦涂层，其中玩家除去所述刮擦涂层将改变所述导电元件。
15.如权利要求9所述的设备，其中所述计算机还包括多个所述游戏，且其中所述卡中的所述数据还识别所述多个游戏中的一个游戏。
