Layout | Branding | Example
Layout
When you sign up for the service, we'll provide you with a code snippet that will generate a Google Search for mobile websites search box. Use the code snippet as provided. Don't change the code in the code snippet or modify the layout or content generated by the code snippet in any way without our prior permission.
You may place the search box generated by the code snippet anywhere on your site, but it must not be the most prominent feature on a particular page.
Branding
Search Box Logo(s)
The Google Search for mobile websites search box will display with a certain Google logo.

Use only the logo identified in the code snippet we provide you. Don't replace this logo with other logos or alter the logo in any way.
Other Use of Google's Brand Features
Except for the logo that appears next to the Google Search for mobile websites search box, don't use any other Google logos or Brand Features on your site or in any promotional or advertising materials, unless we have given you written authorisation to do so (see promotion request details).
Things You Can't Do
You can't (and agree not to) do any of the following:
- Have any Google logo(s) be the largest logo(s) on your site (except for search results pages)
- Display a Google Brand Feature as the most prominent element on any page of your site
- Display a Google Brand Feature in conjunction with any logos owned by other search and sponsored listing providers
- Except for the Google logo that appears next to the Google Search for mobile websites search box or any other Brand Features we give you prior written authorisation to use, display a Google Brand Feature in any manner that implies a relationship or affiliation with, sponsorship or endorsement by Google, or that can be reasonably interpreted to suggest editorial content has been authored by or represents the views or opinions of Google or Google personnel
- Display a Google Brand Feature in a manner that is in Google's sole opinion misleading, defamatory, infringing, libellous, disparaging, obscene or otherwise objectionable to Google
- Display a Google Brand Feature on a site that violates any law or regulation
- Frame, mirror or alter any Google page (including the page that appears in response to a click on the Google logo or Google search box)
- Require payment or other compensation for use of our search box
- Remove, distort or alter any element of a Google Brand Feature (this includes squeezing, stretching, inverting, discolouring, etc.).
