The competition is open to all young people aged 4–17 years who live in the UK.
At Google we love sports, so this year the drawing competition is about the passion for a great sport, football. One of the most played and followed sports in the world, football has its own culture that goes beyond frontiers or teams so we are looking forward to seeing the creative interpretations that participants will submit to represent their passion for football. It is important to note that Doodle 4 Google – I love football is not about supporting one team or country over another, it’s about the passion for football that gathers people around TV sets or in stadiums, around the world.
In addition to producing a doodle, participants also need to give a title for their doodle. This title can be up to 30 words long and should explain the participant’s interpretation of the Google logo in line with the theme of the contest: “I love football”.
Post your drawing to this address by 9th May 2010:
We must receive doodle entries by 10th May 2010, no later than 11:59:59 PM (local time).
Doodle entries are due to arrive at the designated address by 10th May 2010 no later than 11:59:59 PM (local time).
Please allow a few days for arrival of your post, we will not be able to accept doodles that arrive at out address after this date.
