The conversation doesn’t end here. Whether it’s driving cultural debate or reaching out to our neighbors, we take an active role in supporting diversity beyond our walls. By engaging with our local and global communities, we help make our company stronger, our employees happier and our society healthier. In other words, helping helps everybody.
Company-wide, we are committed to positively impacting the world around us.
- Our community outreach project, GoogleCares, is active in multiple offices worldwide.
- GoogleServe, an annual global event organized by employees, is dedicated to serving our local communities.
- Our 10^100 project is a call for ideas that can help as many people as possible. We’ve committed $10 million to make the five best ideas a reality.
We partner with professional organizations on a regular basis, such as Forum for Women Entrepreneurs and Executives, Girl Geek Dinners, Anita Borg Institute, and Human Rights Campaign. We support the work of external organizations and share with them the common goal of diversifying the fields in which we work, by bringing together thought leaders, conducting workshops, and providing networking and professional development opportunities.
