Infection: URL:Mal It goes through loads of pictures and every 5 minutes or so Avast stopes a Mal infected address. Avast even stopped the script in the webcam display iframe when I opened this page. Hope this is useful and informative and taken seriously as someone posted the same complaint .... IN JANUARY !! Bloody nora I thought this was the internet not a wooden stick and a skin drum !

How often are the street view shots updated? When you choose to use webcam it says that the pictures are from the last hour so.....????

The login screen should be fixed now. This happens from time to time when a webcam that had been open adds authentication. I spot these and remove them in the weekly update. When your gadget tries to open Texas A&M's webcam, a login popup appears asking for username and password. This is very disconcerting to some. You should exclude Texas A&M form the list of webcams. Some are mistaking the popup for malware.

Hi, I'm the developer. Some of the locations are wrong - this is because they're added automatically and the default description is for the IP address of the camera which can be different from where the camera actually is. If you see a bad one and know where it really is let me know. Find it in the directory at http://catfood.net/products/webcamsaver/Directory.aspx and then email me the link and the right location.

I've just updated the World Webcams gadget with a couple of frequently requested features. You can now click "New" to load a different webcam immediately. It's also possible to set the interval between new cams up to 30 minutes. Lastly I've fixed an incompatibility with Firefox 3.6. There is a screen saver version (called WebCamSaver) and this gadget is designed to promote it. You absolutely don't have to purchase to use the gadget though - the gadget version is and always will be free. To control any webcam just click on the description. This will load the site that hosts the webcam and you can click a button to take control.

Good tool if you've ever want to see what was going on in a random place. Even better you can also get it for your PC as a screensaver - this gives you a bit more control over what you are looking at.

I didn't get advertisements at first, but it wanted me to download some sort of "WebCam" saver sponsored by a Cat Food distributor before it would let me go on to the webcam. I downloaded at home and THAT's when I got all the ads. If you want to see webcams, I suggest you do a global search for them and book mark them yourself.
