Me too in Firefox. Anyway, all it does is launch the National Rail site with (some) prefilled fields. Even if it worked, it would be just as easy to go to the site and fill the info in there.

Why not just remove it as a gadget rather than folk wasting their time installing something that increases the time it takes to look up trains. I've installed the waddling penguins instead, far more useful.

Like other users the departure date is not carried through in Chrome, may as well just use the full blow website from the outset.

getting same issue as Garry Gelade running in the Chrome browser, a) the Departure Date is not recognized, and worse b) it hangs if you try it more than once.

Poor UI in Safari on mac (can't read content in drop downs) Doesn't pass date to form on site, therefore an extra step is required to insert this information on rail enquires site.

The guy below hasn't realised that it was an excellent add-on until the search engine was up-dated. This add-on now needs updating so that it interacts with the latest search engine as currently it is useless.

Enter start and end stations and all it does is link you tothe website where you have to enter it all again!!

I got the following from customer.relations@nationalrail.co.uk, amidst the usual guff about how much they valued my feedback: "With regard to the Journey Planner Google Gadget, I at this point in time am not able to comment as to when it will be available again." Suggest those who used to use it email them; let's see if we can move this up their agenda.

Frankly, this gadget is a waste of my time and effort. I put details of a journey I wished to make in, pressed search and it took me to the National Rail Enquiries website, to the front page. With no details filed in or selected. I already have a bookmark to take me there directly. Every single person involved in the design, implementation and recommendation of this gadget should feel ashamed

I loved this gadget until it stopped working. If I knew where to begin, I would try and fix it. If anyone out there has the knowlege and the bandwidth, please try and fix it.
