This doesn't work with the new Hotmail interface, so now it's as useful as a bookmark to open Hotmail in a full window - not useful as an app at all.

Ever since Microsoft changed to its new webmail format, none of the Hotmail apps for iGoogle have worked right. Wish someone would remedy this!

i have the same problem that this app doesn't work since a hotmail update... however have found this one that does: http://www.google.com/ig/directory?hl=en&type=gadgets&url=lovemygadget.com/hotmail/hotmail.xml

In the same boat, but I have a new start page as of today. So since the whole Google+ / privacy thing, i've been looking for alternative start pages. This is worth a look for anyone liking to customize your home page. www.netvibes.com Very clean, ultra customizable, It has the google search bar, and you can have multiple email widgets for the same service, 2 gmail, 2 hotmail etc.. Yes microsoft / hotmail still works on them. Something else you might like, Maxthon 3 browser, faster then chrome, unbelievable features, stability, design and it's portable.

I'm using firefox and I had an add-on (firefox lite) that wasn't compatible with the current version of firefox.Uninstalled restarted browser and now it works :-)

After I sign in, goes to a second tab the page is blank and the tab title is javascript:null. I've deleted, re-added, used the ctrl key to bypass the pop up blocker..any ideas?

I have been using this gadget and it was working well for a long time. All of a sudden I can only see the first few letters of each inbox name and message. What is happening? I think hotmail updated recently. Maybe this program needs to be updated.

This gadget is VERY SAFE, because it uses an iframe with hotmail mobile, if you view the source code by clicking on link to your right in this page you will see mobile.live.com as the origin of the gadget content and nobody else, just mobile.live.com. I use it all the time without a problem.

I've had my hotmail account for at least 10 years. Never had any problems with it. I put this gadget on my iGoogle page just a few days ago, then I found out today that everyone in my hotmail address book got spammed from my hotmail account. I don't think that's just chance. I'm deleting this gadget from my page and going to notify Google.
