I haven't had any problems with this yet and I love that you can add your own food items and information. I would however like to be able to personalise it, so that both my partner and I could have one with our names at the top. I like it.

I've been using this for a year and now it rarely works. When you try to customize - it doesn't give you all the measurements you might need. It seems to target fast foods, canned foods and packaged foods. Very few listings for fresh, raw or wild. If I can get it to work, I often have to customize most of it.

As of last week, all my custom items are gone. I was hoping it was a minor glitch and they would come back, but nope. GONE. I love this app, but now I'm not sure I can trust it to work properly.

But it looks like I was too late. I guess LabPixies are trying to make some changes, and I'm unable to use this app now. I don't want it to automatically reset. I use the reset button provided. If I can't find a food in the database I can google it and add it to my items for future use. I've already lost 10lbs. I'd like to know when the modifications to the app will be finished. If my app entries are deleted when I'm recording items I will have to go back to pen and paper. Rating is for the app before modifications.

It usually works for me but sometimes it's glitchy and I admit the database can be pretty lame. I usually have to look up items then save them. Sometimes the ones in the database are also off by 10 or so calories.

I love this gadget! I don't use the pre-set calorie values from the data base. I only use the manual feature where you add the item and the calories your self. Click on the "My Items" tab and it lets you add your own stuff. It saves the list of things you enter and all you have to do after that is click on them. I just enter my favorite foods using the info on the container. If it is fresh foods I just look it up in my calorie book and enter it. I no longer have to write it all down on paper and calculate it my self! Its always handy in my home page.

This is the most frustrating calorie counter I've ever used. WHY WHY WHY when you put something in as simple as OATMEAL....you get dozens of crap pre-packaged garbage and oatmeal cookies! Putting in MILK gets you everything BUT just plain old low-fat, whole, 2% milk. It has such potential but is RIDICULOUS. Also....you can't save your calorie counts from day to day. So I give this thing 5 stars for the interface and graphics. But ZERO stars for the actual functionality of this item. Unless you're someone who eats nothing but crap, pre-packaged and junk food...don't bother.

I love this app: 1st the reason why - I love that you can add your food items and make the list right away and also add as you think of things...and it saves the info! The one thing I really don't like and wish (reason for the title) it did was up at the top where it says calories used and your daily amount...I wish it would subtract out of the daily to show you what you have left...that would make it AWESOME!!

There is a much better calorie counter option at: www.everydayhealth.com. It lets you track your exercise and subtracts it from your calories eaten that day, and it also lets you track water intake, vitamin intake, and journal about the day. It's awesome and I love it. Check it out!

I had trouble finding certain foods. Like when I would input 'Oatmeal' it would give me Oatmeal cookies, instant oatmeal and stuff that I wasn't looking for. The most relevant should be at the top of the list!

I would like to be able to track not only one day, but day to day, week to week, etc., to give me an overall look at my progress (or regress). I do like to be able to add my own items as needed, also I have it right in the middle at the top of my Google page.

Is a one unit of baby carrots one carrot? Also, it says one serving or one portion, how many ounces it that? I really like this calculator but it would be nice if the serving size was more specific.

I guess their thing is , one day at a time. That is all you get to see. I was hoping to compare my intake, day to day and or weekly. Not happening. You get one day, then start over. This helps me how??? This would be the best one for me(easy and lets you add food)if you could do a day/weekly/monthly check on intake. SIGH!
