Seems as if that did the trick for me! Originally entered 7 as start hour, defaulted to 7 AM. Edited to 19 for start hour, works fine! Give it a shot!

This sucks. I modified the time from 1 AM to 1 PM, same day. It changed the # of days multiple times for 388 to 494 to 492 - someone does not know how to write code to count days!!

Greetings everyone. I am very sorry I have been so negligent in responding to you all. I have done some initial investigation and it turns out that Google has changed the google gadgets API to better accommodate localization. Those changes are easy to fix. The real problem is that where the gadget is hosted, which used to be google pages, has now been moved to google sites. A side effect of that change is that I cannot access the underlying file to modify it. I simply cannot put the new, fixed gadget in the same place as before. I loved this gadget for not trying to be all flashy, it does exactly what I wanted it to do. Or rather did. Most of the other countdown gadgets are ugly and overly-flowery. I'd love to have this back.

This looks like it works well... except it has added 32 extra days! There's only 72 days till my holiday - but it's telling me 104... nearly had a heart attack! hehe
