First Majestic Silver Corp. is engaged in the production, development, exploration, and acquisition of mineral properties focusing on silver in Mexico. Silver producing operations of First Majestic are carried out through three operating mines: the La Parrilla, La Encantada, and San Martin mines. The La Parrilla Silver Mine consists of Rosa/Rosarios/La Blanca mines. The San Martin Silver Mine comprises approximately 7,840 hectares of mineral rights, approximately 1,300 hectares of surface land rights surrounding the mine and another 104 hectares of surface land rights. In November 2009, First Majestic Silver Corp. acquired Normabec Mining Resources Ltd., and Brionor Resources Inc. acquired all of the non-Mexican assets of Normabec Mining Resources Ltd., including the Pitt Gold Property located in Quebec. Pursuant to the acquisition, First Majestic Silver Corp. acquired 9.9% interest in Brionor.
