Bio-Treat Technology Limited is an investment holding company. The Company is engaged in the development and application of biotechnology for the treatment of waste and wastewater. It operates in three segments: Best Micro-Organism System (BMS) turnkey wastewater treatment services, BMS and Aqua Mate product sales, and Built-Operate-Transfer (BOT)/Transfer-Operate-Transfer (TOT) water service fees. As of June 30, 2009, the Company had a portfolio of 15 BOT and TOT projects in the People’s Republic of China, including Beijing, Jiangsu, Shaanxi, Hubei and Shandong. The Company’s subsidiaries include Ocean Force International Limited, Bio-Treat Resources Limited, Sky Billion Limited, True Global Limited and Rich Progress Limited, among others. On May 8, 2009, the Company acquired Oriental Fortune Limited. On May 19, 2009, the Company acquired the remaining 85% interest in New Efficient Limited.
