Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust (A-REIT) is a Singapore-based business space and industrial real estate investment trust (REIT). It owns a diversified portfolio of properties in Singapore comprising business and science parks, hi-tech industrial, light industrial/flatted factories, logistics and distribution centers and warehouse retail facilities. The properties house a tenant base of approximately 900 international and local companies from a range of industries and activities, including research and development, life sciences, information technology, engineering, light manufacturing, logistics services providers, electronics, telecommunications, manufacturing services and back-room office support in service industries. Ascendas Funds Management (S) Limited (AFM) is the manager of A-REIT. On May 5, 2008, A-REIT acquired property-8 Loyang Way 1. On June 26, 2008, it acquired property-31 International Business Park.
