Tsingtao Brewery Company Limited is principally engaged in brewing and distribution of beer. The Company's major products are beer with the brand named Tsingtao, Laoshan and Hans, including ordinary beer, pure draft beer, tinned beer and small bottled beer, among others. During the year ended December 31, 2011, the Company produced approximately 48.99 million kiloliters of beer. It distributes its products in domestic and overseas markets. On March 31, 2011, the Company completed the acquisition of 75% stake of a Shandong-based beer company. On March 26, 2011, the Company purchased 80% stake of a Hangzhou-based beer company.
