Organizacion Soriana SAB de CV (Soriana) is a Mexico-based company primarily engaged in the retail sector. The Company's activities include the operation, promotion and management of a network of stores, which comprises 234 Soriana Hiper hypermarkets, 136 Mercado Soriana markets, 108 Soriana Super supermarkets, 47 Mercado Express grocery stores and 33 City Club convenience stores. The Company has operations established in 181 cities in 32 Mexican states. In addition to its retail units, the Company offers online shopping and delivery services, as well as money order servies. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned such subsidiaries as Tiendas Soriana SA de CV, Centros Comerciales Soriana SA de CV, Tiendas de Descuento Monterrey SA de CV and Tiendas de Descuento Sultana SA de CV, among others.
