Noranda Aluminum Holding Corporation is a producer of primary aluminum and rolled aluminum coils. The Company sells its primary aluminum shipments in the form of products, such as billet, rod and foundry. It has two businesses: Upstream Business and Downstream Business. Its Upstream Business is a producer of primary aluminum and consists of a smelter near New Madrid, Missouri (New Madrid) and supporting operations at its bauxite mining operation (St. Ann) and alumina refinery (Gramercy). Its Downstream Business consists of around four rolling mill facilities. The Company's operating segments include Bauxite segment, which consists of the operations of St. Ann; Alumina segment, which comprises the operations of Gramercy; Primary Aluminum segment, which comprises the operations of New Madrid; Flat-Rolled Products segment, which comprises the operations of its four rolling mills, which are located in Huntingdon, Tennessee; Salisbury, North Carolina and Newport, Arkansas.
