Market Vectors Agribusiness ETF (the Fund) seeks to replicate as closely as possible the performance of the DAXglobal Agribusiness Index (DXAG or the Index) by normally investing in a portfolio of securities that generally replicates DXAG. DXAG, calculated by Deutsche Borse AG, is a modified market capitalization-weighted index designed to track the movements of securities of companies engaged in the agriculture business that are traded on global exchanges. The Index provides exposure to publicly traded companies worldwide that derive at least 50% of their revenues from the business of agriculture. The Fund’s investment advisor is Van Eck Associates Corporation.
