PowerShares Global Wind Energy Portfolio (the Fund) is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) based on the NASDAQ OMX Clean Edge Global Wind Energy Index (the Index). The Index is designed to measure the performance of global companies engaged in the wind energy industry, which are primarily manufacturers, developers, distributors, installers and users of energy derived from wind sources. The Fund’s investment advisor is Invesco PowerShares Capital Management LLC.
