Description

Northwest Pipe Company is a manufacturer of large-diameter, high-pressure steel pipeline systems for use in water infrastructure applications, primarily related to drinking water systems. The Company’s pipeline systems are also used for hydroelectric power systems, wastewater systems, and other applications. The Company manufacture water infrastructure products through its Water Transmission Group. The Company markets its water infrastructure products, through an in-house sales force comprised of sales representatives, engineers, and support personnel who work closely with public water agencies, contractors, and engineering firms. The Company also manufactures other welded steel products through its Tubular Products Group. In February 2009, the Company announced that its subsidiary, Northwest Pipe Asia Pte. Ltd., has completed the acquisition of Byard Ltd.
