Gazprom neftekhim Salavat OAO (formerly Salavatnefteorgsintez OAO) is a Russia-based company active within the petrochemical industry. Its main activities include the production and realization of oil-refining products, petrochemicals and fertilizers. The Company's product portfolio comprises over 120 types of products, including: automotive gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene, fuel oil, toluene, solvent, liquefied gases, benzene, ethyl benzene, butyl alcohols, phthalic anhydride and softeners, polyethylene, polystyrene, silica gel and zeolite catalysts, corrosion inhibitors, elementary sulphur, ammonia and urea, as well as household goods from plastic, surface-active substances, among others. The Company exports its products to the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries, as well as European countries and Afghanistan. As of January 10, 2012, the Company�s major shareholder was Gazprom pererabotka OOO with a stake of 60.03%.
