The Company�s principal activity includes the operation of an independent asset management, private client and institutional stockbroking, market making and corporate finance advisory business. The Company operates in two segments: capital markets and wealth management. The Company�s business focuses primarily on capital markets (market making and corporate finance and broking services to small and mid-cap AIM traded corporate clients) and wealth management (encompassing asset management and private client and institutional stockbroking services). As of August 31, 2013, the Company had one subsidiary, XCAP Nominees Limited. On December 13, 2012 the Company completed its acquisition of the asset management trading businesses of Hume Capital LLP.
