Renewable Energy Generation Limited (REG) is a wind power and bio power company. The principal activity of the Company and its subsidiaries is development, construction and operation of renewable energy facilities across the United Kingdom. The Company operates in two segments: wind energy generation and bio power generation. As of June 30, 2012, the Company had 51.15 megawatts of wind projects in operation , with an annual expected output of 134,000 megawatts hours. In addition, the Company had 10 megawatts of new plant under construction, seven wind sites totaling around 36 megawatts moving to construction and over 40 megawatts of short term operating reserve (STOR) projects available for construction as of June 30, 2012. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2012, the Company sold over 600,000 litres of LF100 under contract to two companies, who produce sustainable building cladding and specialist industrial metalworking fluids, as a replacement for virgin vegetable oil.
