TT electronics plc is the parent company of a group whose principal activities are to design, manufacture and sell electronic components and sensor technologies for the defense, aerospace, medical, transportation and industrial electronics markets. The Company operates in four segments: Components division, that offers specialist resistive components and microcircuits, connectors and interconnection systems; Sensors, which include electronic accelerator pedals, engine and wheel speed, temperature and pressure sensors and chassis height sensors; Integrated Manufacturing Services that provide the provision of global electronics manufacturing capability with logistics and integrated solutions, and Secure Power, which includes standby generation and uninterruptible power systems manufacture and service. It operates in the United Kingdom, Europe, North America, Central and South America, and Asia. In December 2012, the Company acquired UK business and assets of ACW Technology Limited.
