Topps Tiles Plc is engaged in the retail and wholesale distribution of ceramic tiles, wood flooring and related products. The Company has three segments: Topps Tiles retail operations in the United Kingdom; Tile Clearing House (TCH) retail operations in the United Kingdom, and the Topps Floorstore operation in Holland. As of October 2, 2010, the Company was trading from 312 stores. As of October 2, 2010, the Company had 275 Topps Tiles outlets and 37 TCH outlets. The wholly owned subsidiaries of the Company include Topalpha Limited, which is engaged in the property management and investment; Multi Tile Limited, which is engaged in the retail and wholesale of ceramic tiles, wood flooring and related products; Topps Tiles Holdings, which is an intermediate holding company, and Topps Tiles (UK) Limited, which is engaged in the retail and wholesale of ceramic tiles, wood flooring and related products. On December 22, 2009, the Company disposed of the Topps Floorstore operation in Holland.
