Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust PLC (TEMIT) is an investment company that invests principally in emerging market companies. The Company seeks long-term capital appreciation through investment in companies operating in emerging markets or whose stocks are listed on the stock markets of such countries. As of March 31, 2012, the Company�s 10 largest investments included Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd., Vale SA, Itau Unibanco Holding SA, PT Astra International Tbk, Banco Bradesco SA, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., Dairy Farm International Holdings Ltd., Siam Commercial Bank Public Co. Ltd., Akbank TAS and PetroChina Co. Ltd. Templeton Asset Management Ltd. (TAML) is the investment manager of the Company.
