Description
Stratex International plc (Stratex) is an exploration and development company focusing on gold and high-value base metals in Turkey, East Africa and West Africa. It has a portfolio of projects, with two in Turkey that are nearing gold production. Its projects include the Oksut, which is a high-sulphidation gold project, the Inlice project, Muratdere, Shehagne/Tigray, the Blackrock project and the West Africa projects. The Oksut is located in Central Anatolia. The Company�s other projects include the Hasancelebi project, the Antofagasta porphyry project, the Altunhisar project, the AbiAdi project and Other Ethiopian licenses, which include Mille-Serdo and Berahale. On December 22, 2011, it obtained total control of Silvrex Limited., which has a prospective gold portfolio in Senegal and Mauritania. In January 2013, the Company sold its 30% stake in Oksut Gold Project to Centerra Exploration B.V.
